Rhapsody In Purple
The Rhapsody is a traditional vibrator with a twist; it comes in am amazing metal storage box, is push button rather than twist dial, and is made of a clear TPR that is beautifully colored.

Pros
Beautiful color, great storage box, body safe materials
Cons
Only three speeds
Ok, I admit it, I bought this toy because I loved the beautiful jewel tone purple. My only regret is that it doesn't come in a purple tin. Ya, I admit that is a small thing to regret.
The Rhapsody from Evolved Novelties comes in a beautiful and functional red metal box that is perfect for storing the toy. The top is machine cut to showcase the toy beautifully, but it does mean that some users will not want to display this box. The toy is nestled between two pieces of foam, the top piece is cut to conform to the shape of the toy.
The Rhapsody is a traditional 3 speed vibrator with the bullet located in the tip of the toy. The bullet is rather large and clearly visible through the TPR, which is latex free, phthalates free and hypoallergenic. It measures approximately 8.25 inches with 6 of those inches being insertable. It has a circumference of 4.75 inches making this a fairly large toy. The shaft of the Rhapsody is dimpled and swirled in a gentle pattern that adds excitement but won't cause any irritation to sensitive tissues. I found that I could make out that there was texture on the shaft of this toy but it wasn't overwhelming.
The base of the toy unscrews to reveal the battery housing. The Symphony edition line have a wonderful tray that the batteries snap into. They can be stored in the tray because the tray slides completely out of the toy! The base of the toy tapers gently to the push button control. This button is easily pushed during use which is one drawbacks to the toy. On the base is written 'Evolved' in white, which is the signature logo. The toy takes 2 AA batteries.
The first push of the button begins the vibrations. They begin at a rumbly, deep but very medium vibration.
The second push ratchets up the vibration speed which is higher pitched and much more surface located.
The third push takes it up to a higher pitched, faster vibration that is all surface and felt mostly where the bullet is located.
The fourth push turns the vibrator off.
The vibrations don't ever leave the realm of moderate intensity though the highest speed could numb or burn a sensitive clit just because of the speed. You have to scroll through the speeds to turn this vibrator off.
When inserted this toy can reach the back wall of the vagina which could irritate or cause pain for ladies who have crabby cervixes. The toy has a blunt tip that has quite a bit of give which means it would take some force to cause bruising. Just start thrusting slow and work up to the speed you desire.
With TPR you are free to use whatever type of lube you prefer, remember that TPR is porous and you might need a good amount of lube. This is also a rather girthy toy so don't skimp!
This is a porous toy so if you are prone to yeast/bacterial overgrowths or plan to share the toy cover it with a condom.
Wash the toy before and after use with warm water and mild soap, commercial toy cleaner or a 10% bleach and water solution. The toy is waterproof and I haven't noticed any leakage either when washing or when I tested it in the shower.
The Rhapsody doesn't have a flared base and is not suitable for anal insertion.

Experience
I love a girthy toy and have always maintained that there is room in every toy box for a great traditional vibrator. This vibe fits the bill 100%! It worked great for me as a clitoral vibe as well as for a G spotter but my spot is easily stimulated and doesn't require a G spot curve. If your spot is a bit more difficult or requires an extremely firm stroke this might not work for you.

I loved my Rhapsody, really really loved it. I made the mistake of raving about it to a playmate and to Sigel one night as we were wandering through the EdenFantasys site. "It still works like it's brand new," I said. "I still love it even though it is just a straight, traditional 3 speed vibe," I gushed. Then she said the words, "I wish I had the money to try that one myself....." OH NO!
...and that's how I lost my Rhapsody. Still it has gone to a loving home where it is the star attraction of a toybox so I guess I can't really be all that sorry.
Despite being TPR the jewel tone look of the Rhapsody held up amazingly well to frequent use and cleaning. I still don't notice any clouding or flaws in the finish of the toy after many different types of lubes and cleaning solutions. This is a definite steal for the money.

Good review. I definitely like the pretty purple color, and the texture looks nice. I don't think I'd like the vibrations all that much, though.
