Revel Body One-Toy-Fits-All
This toy is revolutionary, using magnetic technology to offer a variety of speeds, intensities and sensations. While many vibrators are too buzzy for me, this vibrator offers unique, thuddy vibrations that brought me to orgasm quickly. As a college student, a toy that is practically silent and easy to clean is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone, especially if you enjoy deep, penetrating vibrations and variety.

Out-of-the-Box Impressions
This toy comes in classy, stylish packaging consisting of two boxes. One contains the Revel Body Sonic Vibrator, charger base, USB charger, and instruction guide; the other contains the Quiet Core Attachment Set and attachment set instruction manual. I found myself feeling a bit overwhelmed upon opening both boxes since I had a pile of small parts in front of me. I was excited to see that, in addition to the charger, a wall plug was also included. This is relatively rare for sex toys, so it already set this toy apart.
In-My-Grasp Impressions
With the recent Pokémon Go craze, the first thing that came to mind when seeing the Revel Body vibrator was that it looked like a Poké Ball. The surface of the Revel Body vibrator is very smooth silicone. Visit this link to learn more about silicone. This is a toy that feels good in your hand and allows for a solid grip on the toy. The size is equivalent to that of a tennis ball; both spheres are just over 2½" in diameter. Before using, I washed the Revel Body One and attachment kit with warm water and soap. Toy cleaner and alcohol can also be used to clean this toy.
When you first remove the toy from its box, the Original Removable Attachment Core is seated in the hollow channel of the toy. The attachment set comes with an additional Quiet Core that looks almost identical to the Original Removable Attachment Core. The significant difference is that the Quiet Core has detachable attachment heads. The cores are inserted into the hole that runs through the center of the toy. The attachment will pop into place since the magnets in the hole and the attachment core will attract. Don't worry, if you insert the attachment the wrong way, it will be met with resistance. The toy is controlled by very strong magnets, so be very careful! Magnets can interfere with magnetic key cards, cell phones, computers, and other electronics.
Charging
Before playing with the toy, it will need to be charged. On the bottom of the sphere, there is a three-pronged magnetic charging connector, which makes the charging process very simple. When you first place the toy on the charger, the indicator lights will glow. At full charge, the lights will turn off. According to the instruction manual, if the product is used for 10 minutes, it will charge within 20 minutes. However, I recorded my own charging time and found that after using the toy for 1 hour at full strength (at which time the toy ran out of juice), it took 1.5 hours to return to full charge.
Quiet Core & Attachments
The attachments are silicone caps that snap onto the top of the Quiet Core. There are three different attachments:
I enjoyed the Rose attachment the most. I found the sensation very pleasurable, like tapping that resonates throughout my pelvis. Rose and the original vibrator attachment core feel the same, however, the Quiet Core does not make as much noise. The original attachment core makes a light rattling noise.
Unfortunately, the Rose attachment was the only attachment I liked. Even with a liberal amount of lube, I found that both Ever and Fawn were too rough to use on my clit. At the higher power settings, the vibrations felt like an electric sander. On the lower settings, the sensation just felt uncomfortable. However, those with less sensitive clits may appreciate the added texture. A cloth or towel can be placed over your clit if you are sensitive like me. I found that with my panties on, this toy offered just the right amount of stimulation.
Controls
There are three buttons, increase, power, and decrease. To turn on the vibrator, simply press the power button. The indicator lights will blink before turning on. 1-blink means there is a 25% charge, 2-blinks indicates a 50% charge, and 3-blinks means there is a full charge. If the attachment core is inserted in the channel, it will start vibrating at the most recent setting used. This means that if you turned the device off at the highest setting, the Revel will return to the highest setting when used next. This feature makes the toy seem like a higher quality toy, though I can’t say that this vibration memory feature matters much to me. If the attachment core is not in the channel, the indicator lights will still turn on accompanied by a quiet buzzing, but nothing else will happen. To turn off the toy, simply hold down the power button until the indicator lights turn off.

Experience
Performance
The vibrations are caused by the oscillating attachment core. The speed of the oscillations is controlled by the increase and decrease buttons. There are ten total speeds to choose from but no patterns. Since I do not like patterns, this made me very happy. As can be seen in the graph, the power of these vibrations varies with the speed. This means that at the first setting, the oscillations are slow and gentle. By the fourth setting, the oscillations are noticeably faster and more intense. By the last setting, the attachment tip is vibrating very quickly, but pressure the attachment exerts is not as strong. This allows the vibrator to offer a wide variety of options, from thuddy vibrations to buzzy vibrations.
This toy is designed to be held gently, which means your wrist won’t get tired. However, it also means that you will not be able to apply a ton of pressure when using this vibrator. If too much pressure is applied, the attachment core will stop moving and the toy will not deliver any stimulation.
I used this toy on my labia as a warm up before switching the vibrations to my clit. While I mainly used this toy on my clit, labia, and nipples, it can be used anywhere on the body that could use a good massage.
Noise and Lubrication
The attachment core can be lubricated in one of two ways, either with a few drops of water in the channel or water-based lubricant coated on the attachment. Since the toy is silicone, do not use silicone-based lubricants on this toy! I found that without lubricant, the toy sounded much like a loose cup holder in a car, moderately loud and annoying. I found that either lubrication method worked wonders. After lubrication, the toy was virtually silent, making no more noise that a computer fan.
Splish, Splash, I Was Takin' a Bath
I used this toy in the bath. I found the entire experience quite relaxing. Since the toy is waterproof, I didn’t need to worry about water ruining the toy when submerged. The sensations felt more luxurious underwater, less harsh and more akin to using a shower head on my clit to get myself off. I found that I still preferred the original/Rose attachment best since the other attachments were too abrasive. Underwater, the toy made no noise whatsoever, which is amazing!

Follow-up commentary
6 months after original review
Part of what really drew me in with the Revel Body One Sonic Vibrator was the unconventional idea to use magnets to oscillate the central shaft of a vibrator. After the first month, the toy no longer seemed quite as futuristic or novel. However, after I was able to look past the unique design, I realized how much I really enjoyed the vibrations. I would say that the vibrations do not compare to the strength of a Vibratex Magic Wands. However, the Revel Body can stimulate my nerves in a way that other vibrators can not do. While the Magic Wand is the brute force method, Revel Body uses deep, focused vibrations. The Magic Wand is a sadist forcing orgasm after orgasm, while Revel Body is a tender lover who knows your body better than you do.

Another great review, and very informative as this toy isn't very intuitive from the promotional material I've seen from them.
-
Thank you, MrClark! I've actually had this toy for months. I have just been waiting to review it until I felt like I could give an in-depth review.
-
I know the feeling, there are some toys I've reviewed that I feel might have benefited from extended use prior to finishing my review... and in some cases even after writing a follow up review, new uses or insight have come about I wish I could have included. I have a toy I won that I'll likely wait on reviewing until we can give it more justice in the review.

This is so detailed and through, looks like something one would find in a scientific journal. OW like strong deep rumblings.
-
OH&W, Lovebears - Haha! What scientific journals have you been reading?! They sound a lot sexier and more interesting than the ones I've been reading! With a toy this complex (for example, the way the vibration strength and speed change at each setting), you need a fair amount of detail to explain the features! I hear good things about the Revel Body SOL vibrator, with more options and an underwater suction feature! Too bad Revel Body website is no longer selling consumer products. It makes me wonder how EdenFantasys got their hands on so many units before the company stopped production.

Thanks for the follow up review!! Like the descriptive comparison to the magic wand.
-
Also, looks like they may have gone out of business? Their site no longer exists :-/
-
MrClark - Thanks for reading! Yes, as I said above, they no longer sell consumer products. It sounds like they are focusing more on their oscillating magnet design.
