The Symphony Rhapsody is a beautiful traditional vibrator. It’s fairly powerful, has easy to use controls, and is a very soft material. Plus, the tin it comes in is super cool! It would be a great addition to anyone’s toy box. If you are new to the world of insertable vibrators, this would be a great starter toy. However, any user regardless of their experience can have some fun with the Symphony.
Evolved Novelties’ Symphony Rhapsody is a traditional style vibrator. It has a very beautiful braided design. It is average in size and will please most users. If you prefer softer TPR type vibrators this may be a great fit for you.
Please don’t use this toy anally! Although it is fairly long and increases in size, it could definitely get lost up there!
I’ve always been a fan of Evolved Novelties’ Products and this is no exception. I love its soft feel, beautiful design, and pretty tin box! Plus, it’s waterproof! It's very versatile. You can use it vaginally or use it on your clitoris. I got it on sale and was definitely happy with my purchase.
The Symphony Rhapsody is made out of TPR. It is a rubber polymer that has a very similar feel to jelly. It is soft, squishy, and very flexible. I love that it can easily bend. Here is a picture showing its flexibility.
TPR rates a 7 out of 10 on Eden Fantasy’s safety scale. It is hypoallergenic and phthalates free. TPR is more porous than silicone so if you are going to share be sure to use a condom. It definitely has some drag to it, so be sure to use lube. There are a couple seams on the toy, but are barely noticeable. I even had a hard time trying to find them!
The Rhapsody starts out plain smooth at the top. A few inches further down, a braided design begins. It’s really pretty and reminds me of a Celtic knot. It brings some texture to the Rhapsody without being overbearing. It is mostly smooth for me even when I insert it. However, if you are new to texture this may be a lot for you. I do think this vibrator can be a great introduction to texture.
The only negative thing about the Rhapsody is that it does attract lint and hair like crazy! However, I keep mine in the tin it came in so it normally stays fairly clear of hair. It always seems to find some hair so I usually wipe it down before use.
The Rhapsody is average in size. It is 8 ¼” in length and has an insertable length of 6”. It has a circumference of 4 ¾” and a diameter of 1 ½”. It’s definitely not super small or huge. It is very average in size and will be suitable for most individuals. I love its size. It isn’t too big or intimidating for me. It fills me just right.
As I mentioned before, the middle of Rhapsody has a braided design. It is very pretty to me; it almost looks like a French braid. It comes in either blue or purple. I love its design. Its really easy to hold during use and easy to operate.
The toy is fairly easy to hide. It definitely isn’t discreet; you can tell it’s a vibrator. You could definitely travel with this toy if you wanted to. I would prefer to travel with something smaller.
The Rhapsody has a fairly strong motor located at the tip of the vibrator. You can actually see it (which is how I figured out where it was). I really love that the motor is near the top. This means if I feel like using it to stimulate my clitoris one day, I can easily pinpoint power to it. Plus, it has a pointed top that helps pinpoint the power.
The batteries are located in the bottom handle that twists open. Rhapsody is powered by two AA batteries. I use rechargeable batteries and they fit just fine. It's sometimes hard to insert the batteries back in. You have to put it in the exact right way. It seems to go through batteries at a normal rate. I have used it many times at the highest setting and have only had to charge my batteries once. It’s definitely not a battery guzzler.
At the pointed bottom there is a little button. There are three steady vibration settings: low, medium and high. To operate the Rhapsody you simply press the button. There are no patterns. This isn't a deal breaker for me. I tend to need more power to orgasm and the Rhapsody definitely worked for me. The vibrations are very buzzy. I would give it a vroom of 4. It is definitely a strong vibrator.
Because this toy is a little buzzy, it can be a little loud. However, it isn’t so loud once you insert it. It’s a little louder than a cell phone vibrating. It’s definitely not the loudest toy I own, but not the quietest.
Since Rhapsody is waterproof, you can easily wash it in soap and water. You can also use a wipe. It’s very easy to care for. The light textured design doesn’t attract any additional fluid.
Since this vibrator is TPR, you can use a water or silicone based lubricant.
You can store Symphony however you wish but I like to keep mine in the tin it came with.
Like most Evolved Novelties’ products, the Symphony came in a beautiful tin. There are two latches on the each side to help close the box. I really love this tin! There are so many ways you can use it. You can store the Symphony in it. You can even store more than one toy if you wish. The tin isn’t discreet. There is a see through window and writing all over it.
This is the Symphony when you open the tin.
Inside the tin, the Symphony is laid out in a foam cut out. I prefer to keep the foam in so I can lay the Symphony down. It didn’t come with any instructions, but it is fairly easy to figure out.
I rated this vibrator a four out of five. It has a really beautiful design, is fairly powerful, and that tin is super cool. However, for me it isn’t powerful enough for me to use on a regular basis. I have found that it I prefer clitoral vibrators versus insertable vibrators. My G-spot is really hard to please. This toy didn't necessarily give me a G-spot orgasm, but I still enjoyed it.
