Prefect, Petite, and Precious

The Tryst 2 is a lovely looking and feeling vibrator with plenty of vibration choices and modes. It's also really quiet and is waterproof, so it can be used discreetly. The size and power won't be enough for everyone but this is a very nice vibrator that is worth the price. I just wish it came in another color, preferably black.

Use

For the gals who like smaller vibrators that don't take any warmup to use, the L'Amour Premium Silicone Massager Tryst 2 is a petite beauty made of velvety silicone. It is very easy to operate and maintain. The design has some flare to it and works for hitting the g-spot. The vibrations might not be strong enough for everyone but there are multiple levels and patterns too. It is also very quiet! you can totally use this with others in the room and is roommate approved. Adding to that, it has light indicators for use in darker lighting and it's waterproof. This is not a vibrator to be embarrassed about; it's got class!

Material / Texture

The Tryst 2 is made of velvety baby pink and medical grade silicone. Silicone is also food-grade, hypo-allergenic, non-porous and free of both latex and phthalates. The silicone has a very low scent that isn't bad smelling. It does not have a ton of give to it or flex, but it isn't as hard as the hardest silicone I've felt. With how nice the material initially felt, I was surprised to find that it picks up a lot of lint, although it isn't sticking at all. Give it a quick rinse before use.

There is a little bit of plastic at the end of the toy, so it cannot be entirely sterilized.

Design / Shape / Size

Tryst 2 is a pretty traditional looking vibrator but it has some flares to it too. It has an up curve for stimulating the g-spot and a bit of grooving for added simulation.

The vibrator has a more petite size and won't satisfy size queens. It's is 7" in total length. 5 1/2" of that is insertable. The shaft is pretty much the same thickness the whole way after the first g-spot curve. The diameter is 1 1/4" in diameter and 4" in circumference. 2 1/2" down form the top of the shaft is where there is a 2 1/4" long divot into the shaft. It goes in more than 1/8". The thickness of the toy is also pretty petite, it's best for beginners or those who don't like large toys. For me it isn't too thin to feel good.

1 1/2" below the bottom of the vibrator is where the button are placed facing up when the vibrator is inserted. They are smooth plastic and don't stick out from the vibrator a whole lot, so it's not an issue if they get inserted by accident. The smaller button is for the power and the other other button with squiggles on it changes the vibration mode.

On the underside of the vibrator is the battery cap. It's kind of an odd cap. You have to use a nail to press in on a little piece of plastic which will pop the plastic cap off so that two AAA batteries can be inserted.

This vibrator isn't very discreet because it is so traditional, but it is plain so that helps.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Tryst 2 is very easy to operate. It has two buttons that I already described. The power button is also the kill button for when you want to turn the vibrator off quickly. Pressing the power button doesn't actually turn anything on but a red indicator light. Then pressing the mode button starts the vibrator off on its first level of steady vibration

1. This level of steady vibration is concentrated in the first 2" of the vibrator where it matters most. The vibrations start off somewhere between rumbly and buzzy - closer to rumbly. The noise level is very low. It probably wouldn't be noticed across a decent sized room and certainly can't be heard though a door, especially when it is inserted. This level is strong enough to finish me clitorally, but I can't feel it much internally. I'd consider this level to be a little below average.

2. The second level's vibrations do travel down the shaft further, but are still obviously strongest in the tip. This level is pretty average in strength.

3. The last steady level takes a large jump to a high level. The vibration also do get more buzzy and they are a little uncomfortably for me externally when I get to the point of orgasm. The noise level is still low enough that it can't be heard through most doors.

4. This level is a flutter escalation from nothing to the highest level. This level and all of the patterns are easier to hear through a door.

5. A fast pulsing on the highest level

6. Even faster

7. Pulsing then steady vibrations. If you press the button once more it will go to the first level of steady vibrations.

This vibrator is waterproof and passed both my tub and shower tests.

Lust is waterproof with a cap that locks in place and an extra o-ring seal. It passed both the tub and shower test. You cannot hear it over a shower and the noise level is about the same underwater.

Care and Maintenance

First of all, remember to use only water based lubricant because silicone can ruin the material. To clean rinse with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner. When storing I'd put it in the package because it collects dust.

Packaging

The toy comes in a lower end package for this price, in my opinion. It comes in a clear plastic bow. A plastic molded tray slides out of the box. It's good for storage. The box also has description of the toy and its functions. It makes the toy look cheaper, so it's not the best gift.

Experience

When I use this vibrator I find that it doesn't take a lot of lubricant it all. Since the vibration aren't super strong I use the vibrator for penetration as warm up and finish with the vibrator on my clit. Used this way I don't have any issues cumming even with the lowest level. It's easy to operate and I like that it has a kill switch.
Follow-up commentary
This is a solid toy all around, and I would have been delighted to have it as a beginner, but this toy collects dust at this point in time. I have bigger toys that I enjoy even more. I'd recommend this to mothers who have just given birth, those who want quality on a budget, or those who don't like huge toys.
