Playful, Frustrating Mood
This traditional vibrator is pretty simple. It is not large or complex enough for the average user. There are better options in the same price range.

Pros
Two different textures, 3-speeds, cute.
Cons
Takes batteries, not many bells and whistles, will not do it for many users.
The Mood Playful by Doc Johnson is a simple, basic, traditional vibrator.
It has 3 increasing, steady vibrations (contrary to what the packaging says, it does not have a separate on/off switch).
You have to cycle through the settings with a single push button on cap. This clear raised button lights up when on and also has a "3" on it.
It is waterproof. Where the cap screws on, there is a fairly large seal to keep water out, even when submerged. Do not use this toy anally as it does not have a flared base. It does have a tapered end, however, and is easily insertable vaginally.
So what's it made of? It is made of plastic (white part) and TPR/TPE (blue part). Therefore, it can be used with any lube, but it is not shareable without protection. Clean thoroughly with anti-bacterial soap and water or toy cleanser. Since there is a small indent at the tip in the TPR, it may take some detailed cleaning. Also be sure to clean carefully where the two materials meet. It is Phthalate and latex free. The TPR portion has a slight drag to it, while the white plastic is very smooth. There is also a slight temperature difference between the two.
What makes it go? Since it is not rechargeable, it requires 2 AAA batteries which are not included. Be sure to order some batteries here. I like the removable battery compartment, which is clearly labeled for insertion with arrows pointing you in the right direction.
Playful is visually appealing...in a cutesy way. This brightly colored vibe is obviously not realistic looking.
You have a choice of 3 different colors.
Did it hit my g-spot? NO, there's no curve, and it is not bendable.
Did it make me O? Not on its own...it does not have varied enough settings. The highest setting was not high enough.
Penetration was shallow, and the toy became too slippery to easily hold onto while thrusting.
Did it pinpoint my clit? It did OK...just OK. I prefer nubs and/or some give.
I tried it out several times without success regardless of technique. The batteries held their power throughout multiple play sessions. Perhaps it would have gotten me off had I used it along with another toy.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I've stopped using it. It's at the bottom of the toybox waiting for a new home. It just doesn't do it for me. I have plenty of other toys that do without all the frustration and extra work. Getting off shouldn't take so much effort. Thanks to edenfantasys I have discovered so many toys that have been a better addition to my toy collection.
It's not worth the price. It compares to $10 starter vibes.
