A lot of people are afraid of putting their bodies through the pain that body piercing offers. We don't want to deal with initial piercing as well the maintenance of the healing process. Your nipples can easily become infected if they aren't treated properly. In order to avoid these headaches and traumas, this is an option that won't leave a permanent scar on your body.

This item comes in two tones; silver and gold. I have the silver version in order to keep the pierced nipple look as authentic as possible (I haven't seen many gold nipple rings). The silver type looks like the stainless steel hoops that are used in piercing shops. They are big enough to give a nice hanging affect on the nipples. Once they are placed properly, they look really nice. They remind me of the old fashion door knockers.

I must warn all those who want to try it, you must have some type of pain tolerance. The concept that makes these clip on nipple rings look real is that they are clipped onto nipple and there is a constant pinching sensation on your nipple. If they are placed in the wrong section of your nipple they will hurt.

One drawback that I found with this product is that there are no real instructions for how to put on the nipple ring. I would like to share my technique on placing the rings on. First harden your nipples. I like using either pinching or a twisting of the nipples. After the nipple are hardened, pull them away from you so that you are exposing the stretchable skin of the alveoli. Then you slightly pry the ring open and slide it behind the nipple. The effect you get is a hardened nipple and the ring is not actually squeezing the nipple. I've had bad experience where the ring was placed on the nipple and it was painful.

I've also had the product for a couple of years. I don't wear them often, but they are still in my bag of tricks because they haven't tarnished. They are a good investment in terms of durability.

Once the nipple rings are in place, you can take it to another level. If you have ribbon you can run it through the hoops and have your lover tug on them. It can create some interesting scenarios for nipple play.

Thanks for the tip on how to wear them, it really is odd that no instructions came with them though!

I think since the same of the product is called "nipple ring" it would be self explanatory that you put it on your nipples. It just takes a personal touch to just adjust the ring. However, when you explore things by yourself, there is always that uncertainty of "Did I do it right?" I just wanted to give a suggestion to those curious people.

Nice review. Are the two smaller balls the ends of the ring which you place around your nipple? (Couldn't quite tell from the image)

toy: the nipple rings point is to pinch. You can use your finger muscles to pry it open but then you also risk the possibility of deforming the ring so it won't pinch anymore. So you have two choices; work the metal until you feel comfortable wearing it, or you can leave it as is and manage the pain.

ravenlust: yes in between the little balls is where you place your nipple.
