If you are interested in a low cost, traditional style vibrator then this one is for you. If you can keep enough batteries around while you use it, this vibe will give you a lot of bang for your buck. The texture is a little too rough for me and the complete lack of variation forced me to look elsewhere for a more enjoyable toy.
Pleasure Petals is best used as a clitoral stimulator, if you can handle the texture of the embellished flowers. It could be used for vaginal penetration, but I found that with the combination of such a hard plastic and the raised flowers that it was just a little bit too painful for me. With proper toy covers or condoms, you could use this as an anal toy. I recommend against using this anally as the raised flowers might be just a little too raised for anal play.
It didn't stimulate a lot of areas on my body, but it could be used as a foreplay aid. I found that it felt nice when it was on a low speed against my neck, chest and nipples, but only for a short period of time. The texture takes away from the toy against these areas.
This toy packs a little bit of a punch, so it could be enjoyed equally by users of any gender that are more advanced or users just starting to explore their toy curiosity.
Pleasure Petals is made out of a pretty pink, rigid plastic earning it an 8 on Eden's material safety scale. It has raised ridges all over the toy in the shape of flowers and leaves. This definitely left something to be desired for me. The texture could add extra stimulation to those that like the feeling of ridges and raised patterns. The part of the vibe that isn't covered in pattern is smooth and velvety to the touch. It's odorless when held directly under the nose. The inside of the toy does have a scent, but it can't be smelled unless you uncap it and sniff directly inside. It's completely tasteless. It's not sticky at all and doesn't seem to collect dirt or lint.
Pleasure Petals is also made of a food-grade material, it's hypo-allergenic and is latex and phthalates-free.
The Pleasure Petals vibe is a traditional torpedo style vibrator with a dial base. It's pretty pink in color and very nice to look at. The dial base is a whiteish clear color. It's almost transparent enough to see through, but not quite.
It's 7 1/2 inches from tip to the bottom of the base with 6 3/4 of those inches being insertable. It's about 1 1/3 inches wide and 4 inches around.
It's a lightweight toy weighing in at 4.8 ounces without batteries and about 10 ounces with the 2 size C batteries inserted.
This toy is discreet enough to travel with or to hide, but it's long so it's too big for a pocket and probably too big for an average-sized purse. It can easily be tucked away in a drawer or toy box.
This toy is controlled by 2 size C batteries and a dial base. The dial base starts you out with a low vibration and as you turn it clockwise or counter-clockwise it weakens or strengthens the vibration speed. There are no varying settings or vibration patterns, just one speed either weaker or stronger.
It's a fairly powerful vibe as it's powered by C batteries and even on the weakest setting it could probably take you over the edge.
The dial base is not easily changed so if your hand brushes against it the setting won't move. It is really easy to turn when you're trying to change the speed, though.
This toy is really noisy, so if you're looking to use this in a place where other people are, you should probably shy away from that. When I set this vibe on my bed, on the second floor of a two-story house, I was able to hear it through the closed door and from the first floor. A couple of other things to note about this toy are that it's not waterproof and that it guzzles batteries.
Pleasure Petals is made of plastic and is really easy to care for and maintain. It can't be boiled or sterilized due to the inner workings of the vibrator. It is non-porous and fairly easy to clean with hot water and antibacterial soap or isopropyl alcohol wipes. It can be stored anywhere you store your toys. It doesn't collect dirt or lint so that should never be an issue. I store mine in the original packaging just to keep it separate from other toys.
I recommend cleaning it before and after use just to be in the habit of good hygiene when it comes to your products and always be sure to use a toy cover or a condom if you plan on sharing a toy.
Pleasure Petals is a plastic toy which makes it compatible with oil, silicone and water-based lubes.
I got my Pleasure Petals vibrator as a free gift from Eden when I placed another order. It came in generic, see-through packaging marked Edenfantasys.com. There were no instructions for care and maintenance of this product. The packaging is not at all discreet since you can see what's inside it very clearly. It also promoted Edenfantasys.com and it persuades you to join the programs that they have to offer here. I use the package to store the toy to keep it in it's own separate space away from my other toys.
Since I don't have the packaging that this toy normally comes in the link to the main Pleasure Petals product page is here if you're interested in the regular packaging. Product Photos of Pleasure Petals in Original Packaging
While this is a strong vibe, it has no variety and is just boring after a while. The texture proved to be too rough for me and I ended up not loving it.
Everyone has a different experience with each toy whether they love it or hate it. It's a great toy for anyone that likes textures and ridges.
I'm glad I got this toy as a free gift. I would have been really disappointed had I spent my money on it. I used it four times with moderate success. When I put a cover on it to lessen the feel of the flowers, I found that I enjoyed it immensely. I haven't used it in a while because I like variety in my speed and vibration settings. I'll probably pull this toy out from time to time and use it when I need a break from my regular vibrators. Overall, I'm pleased that I own a traditional vibe, but I'm not too pleased with this particular vibrator.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it6 days after original review
This toy hurts when I press it against my clitoris. It hurts when I penetrate with it. It hurts when I use toy covers and condoms. I don't plan on trying to like it anymore. I completely give up on this toy.

Great review, sorry you didn't have good luck with it. I didn't get a chance to get this free so maybe that was a good thing. Thanks for sharing.

It's worth mentioning that this toy isn't good for anal use for lack of a flared base as well. No one wants a toy slipping inside their body!
funny4now
It is probably a free item because no one wants to buy it!

Thanks for reading! I thought I put that it wasn't good for anal because of the lack of flared base, but when I scrolled back up I see that I didn't. Thanks for your tip!
