This is a traditional vibrator that may not be super fancy, but has a few pros that would make it worth the purchase. It's not incredibly large, realistic or difficult to operate, so it would be decent for beginners. Don't expect a vibrator of exceptional quality, though. This thing is cheap and made as such. Although it's intended to be a vaginal vibe, you can always get creative and put a little life into the toy. I would suggest looking for sleeves, kits and perhaps some of the above that you may get with other toys.

This vibrator is made of simple, slightly thin plastic. The upside to this is that it has no odor, is easy to clean, has no taste and can be stored with other toys. The downside is that there is no real texture to speak of. That can be a good thing if you are looking for a smooth toy. This thing glides easily over the body and has zero drag. I've never needed to use a lubricant of any sort with it. It may not be your favorite material, but it is food-grade. It is also hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. Sure, it's nothing special, but you can't argue with the easy care of this product.

The design is that of a typical/ classic vibrator. It's 4 1/2 inches long (a little over 3" insertable) and about 1/4" wide. The tip is tapered, which makes insertion quite easy. I like the size of this toy, as I'm not a big fan of thick or long toys. The entire toy is firm (see material) and there is literally no give to it at all. This can be good or bad, depending on what you like in your toys. For me, it just depends on my mood. The bottom serves as the battery compartment and dial for the vibration speed. It's fairly easy to handle and just the right size for the toy. I had no issues with the design being hard to control. The turn dial is directly on the bottom, so it really depends on how you turn your wrist to adjust the speed. Everyone is different. It's not particularly pretty and it's certainly not realistic. This is as plain as they come, but I do like to keep the "good ole" standbys stocked and ready to go. I will also note that the size is small enough that it could be ideal for travel. I don't think it's discreet, but it's small enough to stash almost anywhere (purse, luggage, makeup bag, nightstand, pillow).

This is the part where some may feel this toy lacks. I really think that women can appreciate the classic style, but I'm not sure if the vibration intensity would be suitable for experienced toy users. As I stated before, the dial at the very bottom controls the intensity of the vibrator. The speed ranges from a very light rumble up to a moderate rumble/buzz. It was hard for me to really tell if the vibration was more of a rumble or a high-pitched buzz. It's somewhere in between. As far as how intense it gets, I felt that it was adequate. It was enough to get me turned on and to get off without having to press too hard or go nuts with the toy. That said, the range isn't too grand and I'm sure women who need a higher buzz rating would feel this product just doesn't deliver what they need. This is ideal for beginners who aren't certain of how strong they'd like their vibrations to be or for ladies who like a more gentle vibration. The plus side to this is that it is fairly quiet. It gets a wee bit loud on the higher settings, but not so loud that you couldn't use it in your room without roommates hearing. There are no fancy bells or whistles, so don't expect alternative functions or for the toy to be waterproof. No fun in the shower with this one! It is powered by a single AA battery, which I did like. Sure, it doesn't have a motor like a car, but the one little battery lasts for quite awhile. I used mine for three hours to see how long it would take the battery to drain and it was still going fairly strong with very little difference at all.

Plastic is super easy to care for, which I personally think makes it ideal for beginners. To clean, you just wash with mild soap or toy cleaner and rinse well. I suggest removing the batteries first, cleaning, then leaving the product open to dry. This isn't a waterproof toy, so be cautious when cleaning it. Storage is equally easy. Just throw it in a draw, hide it in a pillow, stick it in a plastic bag and find a place with mild temperatures to store it in. You can store it with other toys, since it's just regular plastic. When it comes to lubricants, feel free to use whatever lube you want. It won't damage the toy.

This product comes in a clear, clamshell package with a little insert that gives information on the batteries and product info. There is nothing aesthetic about it, but nothing super ugly or tacky. The insert does depict a woman sporting a short dress, but there's no real nudity on the package. It's not something I'd consider gift-packaging, but it's not offensive. It could be used as a storage box if you hang onto clamshell packages.
