G-spot rabbit vibrator discontinued
by Orion

Part Space Alien, Part Disco Revolution

I like the idea of a rabbit vibrator, but this product did not deliver the goods. While I appreciated the rotating head, I would have liked a firmer material that pushed against my parts with more force. I forgive this toy partly because it has glitter and I do love me glitter, but this toy is probably only going to come out to scare the kids at Halloween.

This product is too long on the bees and too short on the vrooms for my liking.

Use

I have never used a rabbit vibrator, so for my first one I thought I should go all out and chose the Rotating G-Spot Rabbit vibrator by Orion. I chose this rabbit specifically because I am all about the glitter and glitz and uniqueness and boy does this rabbit bring it!

A rabbit vibrator is meant to provide vaginal/g-spot stimulation at the same time as it tickles your clitoris; a double whammy, so to speak. Largely meant to be used in solo play, but why not let your lover take charge and explore your parts with you?

This product provides us with an extra bonus in the way of a rotating head; not only does the tip of this rabbit vibrate, it also rotates...and with the push of a button can rotate either clockwise or counter-clockwise. The clitoral tickling piece has its own separate motor. With three speeds per motor, you can put the extra oomph where you want it.

Material / Texture

This product is made of TPE, which the site states is 'A polymer blend or compound that exhibits a thermoplastic character'. I can tell you that upon opening the plastic packaging and exposing the toy, it smelled and it smelled bad, reminiscent of paint fumes. Because of this, I didn't use the toy right away and kept it separate from my other toys. I washed it with soap and water and left it to air dry and the smell eventually did go away after a week or so. Still, when something smells so pronounced upon opening, it did give me cause for concern on what was going into my body and I have only used this vibrator with a condom on and will continue to do so. Note: this product is phthlate free which is good to know but it is porous so I wrap it up every time.

The packaging does note that this product is waterproof and I do see there is an o-ring seal within the battery compartment but I am not completely sold in full water immersion and have only used in the shower.

The texture is somewhat soft and rubbery feeling. There are sparkles and glitter contained within the TPE and this along with the silver color gives this toy a disco appeal. When you add the nubbed head and the two-pronged tickler into the mix, you now have something that looks like a disco alien.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is silver and glittery with a nubby head and two-pronged finger tickler. I've already compared it to disco and aliens, so why not take it a little further? This product also reminds me of a giant toothbrush quite frankly.

I suggest you save it for brushing something other than your teeth, and let it do what it is meant to do; give you a dual-action orgasm. The insertable length is 5 1/2 inches, and designed so that when inserted and pressing against your g-spot, the fingers will be able to flick your clitoris. Overall, the product is 9 3/4 inches in length; there is ample room to hold the rotating g-spot rabbit and play with the controls at the bottom of the device.

The design is comparable to most rabbits, but Orion has definitely made this a unique product not only because of the silver and glitter (you can never get enough glitter in your life) but because of the rotating, nubbed head. Unfortunately, the head is a little too flexible for my tastes and thus I could not feel the nubs nearly as well as I wanted to. Likewise for the ticklers, they are too slight and even with three progressively stronger speeds, I had to press the body of the tickler against my clit at top speed to really get an idea of the stimulation it is meant to provide.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This product features two motors; one in the shaft leading up to the head of the vibrator, and one that focuses on the tickler for clitoral stimulation. Each motor has three speeds, and to change speeds you press on one of two buttons per motor, up or down to get to or from the next level.

This works well enough for me and I appreciated that I could use one or both motors and on different speeds to focus more or less or not at all on g-spot or clitoral pressure.

There is an added bonus in that the head can change the way it rotates with the press of another button located just above and in-between the motor buttons. For some reason, I did enjoy counter-clockwise more than the other. This is a noisy toy, with the motor for the shaft/head being far noisier than the tickler motor. I could stand only the tickler motor turned on and at it's highest speed I would rate it a 3 but the motor for the vibrator was too loud for me and I would rate the bees at 5. It threw me off and definitely got in the way of my orgasm.

Since this is a waterproof toy I did try it in the shower, and this was much more tolerable as the noise of the motors is masked by the shower water. Upon inspection after the shower, I checked and the battery compartment was still completely dry.

Care and Maintenance

As I have already mentioned, when I first took this toy out of the packaging, it smelled quite a bit and I did not store it with my other toys until the smell dissipated. This took a few weeks. I do store it with other toys now and have made a soft, cotton pouch for it.

You cannot boil or bleach this material and it is porous so I suggest that you always use a condom with it, for your own use and if you share this toy with anyone else. When you are dealing with porous materials, this really cannot be stressed enough.

Clean with soap and water or toy cleaner and use with silicone or water based lube.

3 AA batteries required.

Packaging

The Rotating G-Spot Rabbit comes in the standard plastic casing with a double-sided paper silhouetting the product and featuring product information such as how many batteries it requires, etc.

Personal comments

This is a fun and unique looking toy but did not pack a punch. The head was too flexible and although I was excited about the nubby bits, because of the flexibility they provided little to no stimulation.

Likewise for the clit tickler, I really needed to feel much harder pressure there as well and I am not usually one that is hard to please but this toy did not make me orgasm.

This is a noisy toy and if we are talking Magic Wand noisy where my orgasm is squirting all over the place, then I can accept the noise. Sadly, we are not. But hey, it's not always glitz and glamour that take the cake and perhaps my body and the design of this product just aren't a match made in heaven.
Follow-up commentary
I still don't like it for sex but I admit to having a fondness for it just because it surely belongs on the Isle of Misfit Toys. I won't ever get rid of it but likely won't use it again either.

I will give another rabbit vibrator a try in the future but will make sure the head and tickler are fairly rigid.
