The We-Vibe 3 is a couples vibrator that can be used solo or with your partner. Provided that you're of a relatively average build, this c-shaped toy will stimulate both the clitoris and g-spot with its relatively powerful dual motors (it's stronger than a battery-operated vibrator, but may not satisfy the speed and power queens out there.)

Personally, I haven't had a chance to use this toy with my partner yet, but I did my best to try and test this toy out as best I could solo. I'm happy to report that the We-Vibe 3 is a great toy to use by yourself, especially if you are like me and prefer to grind down into a mattress, pillow or what have you. I find that it doesn't bruise my pelvic bone like some other toys do when I attempt this maneuver so if you're an avid cushion-humper like myself, this toy might be for you.

I also tried this toy out with the Vixen Creations Leo (which is my partner's strap-on of choice) and I felt no discomfort in the least. In fact, I found that the combination of the toys excellent for stimulating my g-spot better than either would do on their own and provided a little extra feeling of 'fullness.'

Since I've heard quite a lot of reviews about the We-Vibe 3 slipping out of place during partner sex, I tried to switch my positions and intensity with the Leo as to best simulate actual intercourse and am proud to report that the We-Vibe had no problem staying in place for me. Some people find that it stays in place better with the female partner laying on her back, but I went ass in the air with no problems. This leads me to believe that this may be an anatomy issue so please, look into the measurements of both this toy and of your partner before purchasing (Antipova's review on the toy's main page is excellent in describing the exact fit of this toy).

As for location, this toy can be used pretty much anywhere. It's relatively quiet (depending on what you're doing with it and what you're using it in conjunction with) and it comes with an amazingly convenient docking station that works as both a charger and travel-case for your toy and it's remote.

The We-Vibe 3 is made of odorless, tasteless, body-safe silicone which scores a whopping 10 on EdenFantasys safety scale. It's non-porous and easy to sterilize so it's safe to use with multiple partners. The toy itself is remarkably flexible at its bend and firmer where the dual motors lie but the coating of plush silicone softens things up nicely for an overall comfortable fit. Since it is silicone, the We-Vibe 3 is a bit of a lint and hair magnet, but it's nothing a quick rinse under water doesn't fix (note she's 100% waterproof and not just splash-proof like her predecessors).

Each of the arms of the C-shaped toy has ridges on the underside to help keep things in place as well as provide extra stimulation. But, if you're not into texture, don't worry, the sensations aren't overwhelming in the least and I've yet to read a review that states the ribs on this toy cause discomfort.

This toy is also available in three color choices: teal, purple and red (although, in my humble opinion the red looks more of a burgundy or dark pink to me) so you'll have no trouble finding something both you and your partner find aesthetically pleasing. The remote and docking stations for all the toys are a clean and lovely white.

Personally, I love the design of this toy. I'm fortunate enough that my anatomy fits the toy near perfectly but the overall aesthetics and creative design of this toy are what initially drew me to the We-Vibe 3.

Let me start out by saying that the docking station is a blessing. Don't get me wrong, I love my FunFactory rechargeable vibrator, but the click-and-charge magnetic technology frustrates me to no end. It seems like I have to perform a balancing act worthy of the Cirque du Soleil to even get the thing to stay in proper position. Also, looking back, the predecessors of the We-Vibe 3 used a 'plug in' technology which, while it seemed a bit less irritating than magnetic charging methods, left the toy regrettably splash, and not water-proof. I'm happy to say that these problems are no more. The We-Vibe 3's docking station allows for a seamless, waterproof toy that you can enjoy just about anywhere from the shower to the spa, and it makes both charging and storing the toy easy as pie (or a piece of cake if you're not a fan of pie. And if you're not a fan of pie, what's wrong with you?)

Furthermore, the docking station itself is clean, neat, and lidded, which helps keep the lint and hair off of the clingy silicone as well as provides a level of discreetness for its owners. True, the docking station does say "We-Vibe" right smack-dab on the front of it, but unless you're really leaning down to stare at the thing, it's unlikely that anybody will notice your toy on your nightstand.

The docking station also serves as a great travel case. It keeps everything in place and together and the lid does not pop off easily--which means you won't have your toys flying all over your luggage or turning on during flight. Possibly my most favorite thing about the docking station though is its futuristic look. It's all rather simple but modern, and has almost a space-age feel to it with its subtle silver accent and tiny charging light (which unfortunately only shines yellow and doesn't cycle to red or green but hey, we can't have everything, can we?)

The functioning part of this toy is also discreet. Unless someone knows what sort of vibrator it is, I doubt it'll raise much of a fuss. It's not phallic or vaginal in appearance and the colors are whimsical and thankfully unrealistic.

I'm quite happy with the toy overall and suggest that if you have the dough and you're fairly certain this would fit your anatomy, run out and buy it now.

TAH-DAH!!! This toy has a REMOTE CONTROL. The older versions of the We-Vibe cycled through its functions via a button set at the clitoral leg of the toy. The We-Vibe 3, while also sporting this button, now comes with a single button remote control that cycles through the vibration patterns so you don't have to go reaching between bodies or awkwardly fiddling with the toy itself during play. This is amazing. While I admit that the range on the remote could be a bit better, I had no problems with getting it to work for me and the convenience just couldn't be beat. I also look forward to my partner controlling the vibrator itself in the future since there are a huge amount of inherent teasing capabilities in this toy.

The vibrations, as mentioned before, are located at the ends of both legs in the C-shaped toy. This ideally (anatomy willing) puts a vibrating motor directly atop both your clitoris and G-spot. It can also stimulate the penis (if you have one of those on hand) seeing as this is a toy a couple wears during intercourse.

The We-Vibe 3 has vibrations that are more rumbly than buzzy and cycles through various settings. The first is a solid low vibration (about 2-3 vrooms depending on the individual), followed by a solid high (about 3-4 vrooms depending on the individual). Afterward there are a variety of teasing patterns: 9 slow pulses and 12 quick ones, a roller coaster rise-and-fall vibration, a sustained quick pulse (2-3 vrooms), and a cha-cha vibration (1, 2, 1-2-3 for those of you who aren't award winning ballroom dancers). To turn off the vibrator, one merely has to cycle through the patterns or one can press-and-hold either the remote or toy button for a few seconds.

As I mentioned before, this toy is both convenient, easy-to-use and completely waterproof. I personally prefer the comparatively lower vibrations (4 vrooms at best) in this toy since I tend to run on the sensitive side and don't want to go into crazy, useless spasms (akin to those giant inflatable dancing men they put in front of used car lots) after reaching climax. I also find that since this toy is more rumbly that 4 vrooms suits me just fine. If you're a fan of buzzy vibrations, or if you're like my partner and have a clit-of-steel, you may find the We-Vibe 3 a bit disappointing--even if it does boast 40% more power than its predecessors.

As far as noise goes this vibrator is about 2 bees. It's not very noisy at all. It can't really be heard from under covers and it sure as heck can't be heard through a door (though you might be if you use this toy). The loudest this toy got was when I used it in conjunction with a dildo and even then it was remarkably quiet.

This toy is extremely easy to care for. Since it is non-porous, body-safe silicone a simple washing of warm water and antibacterial soap will do. However, you can also use a 10% bleach solution or toy cleaning wipes or sprays. Do not boil this toy or put it in the dishwasher as the extreme temperatures may harm it. After cleaning, just pop the We-Vibe 3 back into the charging dock and place the lid on and you'll be ready for the next time you want to play.

You should take note that silicone toys should not be used with silicone lubricants as it will damage the toy and ruin the integrity of it, rendering it unsafe. Use a nice water-based lube instead.

The remote is made of plastic and apparently has a battery that lasts 5-7 years so you don't have to worry about opening it up. The toy also comes with a one-year defect warranty so if your toy or remote kicks it, you'll get a replacement with no worries within the first year of its life.

The packaging on this toy is classy and sturdy if not that discreet. I've kept mine so I can store some other toys inside of it but find that since the We-Vibe has its own, sealed docking-station I don't need to use it for the toy it came with.

It makes for a good, informative, gift box, but unfortunately the We-Vibe 3 has to be charged a full 24 hours before one can put it to use--likely making it a slightly frustrating gift for the first day one has it.

Inside the box there is a little instruction manual with directions for using the toy in several different languages and even includes a pictograph section for cavemen and people who can't be bothered to read.
