Oooo...Sparkles!
As a cute, girly vibrator that gets the job done, this toy works! This would make a great addition to the toy box of anyone who doesn't need deep thrusting or g-spot play, but enjoys a great rumble vibrator for clitoral or shallow vaginal play.

The Diamond Fairy is a cute, girly little toy. If you're looking for something smaller than a traditional vibrator and larger than a discreet bullet vibe, this might be just the ticket. It packs mid-level vibrations and provides a bit of a break from the normal straight shaft of the traditional vibrator. I wouldn't say it's the best for thrusting, but for shallow internal use and external use, it gets the job done. The vibrations of this toy are mid-range but fairly quiet. It has a nice rumble to it, and the three levels of vibration provide some variety. I also really like the Diamond Fairy for nipple stimulation.
Length -- 5 1/2"
Insertable length -- 4 1/4"
Circumference -- 4 1/4"
Diameter -- 2"
Width -- 1 1/2"
The shape of this toy offers some variety and allows you to find the right groove for you. I think the rounded head is great for clitoral stimulation, either pinpoint or more broad. The vibrations transfer very well to all parts of the toy, but don't give you a numb hand. The flared parts of this toy made for a strange thrusting experience, with a sort of popping sensation each time you go over the ridge. The toy is fairly short, so thrusting is not it's main purpose. I found the popping sensation distracting, so I don't use this for thrusting. It wasn't painful, but it wasn't pleasant either.
If you have a more shallow g-spot you may be able to reach it with the Diamond Fairy. Anyone with a deeper g-spot won't be able to use this toy for that purpose. It has no bend to it, so it might be hard to reach even a shallow g-spot depending on your anatomy.
This toy is made from plastic, which rates an 8 out of 10 on the Eden Fantasy safety scale. It has no odor. The feel of the toy is very nice, with a velvety touch and very little drag. No seams can be felt or seen. Washing it is a breeze, just use water and a mild soap. You can use all types of lube on this toy.
The Diamond Fairy is waterproof. I have tested it successfully in both the shower and the bathtub with no use issues. The one thing I will note is it seems to collect a small bit of condensation, or water droplets, in the housing for the rhinestone accents. After a bit of drying time, any water that was accumulated in there evaporates and doesn't seem to leave any permanent damage or residue. I do worry about the fact that water can collect in there, but after a half a dozen swims it still functions like new.
The controls on this toy are very basic and easy to use. There is a small button on the end of this toy. If you hit it once you turn it on, and you're on the low setting. If you hit it again, you increase to medium. If you hit it once more, you increase to high. Hitting the button one more time will turn the toy off. It sounds very much like clicking it pen each time you depress the button. The Diamond Fairy takes one AA battery which is not included. The vibrations of each level are more of a deep rumble, not a buzz, which I really enjoy.
The package for the Diamond Fairy was a simple plastic sleeve, which could be used for storage if you like. It doesn't seem like it will hold up as a long term solution, but it will do for now.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
This toy is still working well, and I have no issues with it. I've moved on to better toys, but this one still makes an occasional appearance for play in the tub.
