The Joyballs Secret are a silicone kegel product from JoyDivision. They are different from the original Joyballs in that their shape is more tapered and the retrieval cord is actually just a small loop which can be tucked up into the vagina for maximum discreetness.

They are intended for vaginal pleasure and for giving the wearer something to squeeze around when doing kegel exercises. They should not be worn anally because they do not have a flared base, though JoyDivision does also make a product specifically for anal use if you want to check that out.

The Joyballs are made of silicone. The black straps surrounding the two balls have more drag than the balls themselves, which are not too draggy so you might not even require lube if you're naturally pretty wet.

There is no give in the balls themselves, leading me to believe that the layer of silicone covering whatever is underneath (metal? plastic?) is not very thick at all. You will definitely feel the entire 1 1/4" girth of these balls because they are very firm. However, this doesn't make them uncomfortable (unless you have a very tight vagina that can't handle 1 1/4" inches of girth).

I really love the shape of these kegel balls because they're not perfectly spherical; they're tapered. This makes them a lot easier to insert and remove, and a lot more comfortable to wear.

I also really like the way the retrieval cord is designed. It's a small loop that curves upward, making it easy to grab onto and pull on, but equally easy to tuck away into the vagina if you don't want it to be visible.

The size is fairly average for a set of kegel balls: 4" long (short enough to fit easily into the average vagina with some room to spare), 1 1/4" in diameter at the widest point. They weigh 0.3 lbs which is hardly noticeable in use.

Anyone with sex toy knowledge will know that this is a set of kegel balls, so they're not terribly discreet. I'm also not sure whether the inner portions of the toy are made of metal or some other hard material, so it's hard to say whether this toy would be suitable for travel.

The Joyballs do exactly what a kegel toy should do: they provide something firm and noticeable to squeeze around, while remaining comfortable for all-day wear, and they also provide a pleasurable bouncy sensation while walking around, which serves as a lovely reminder to do regular kegel exercises.

I appreciate that these balls are easy to insert in a hurry, as their shape and material allows them to be inserted without lube when that's what I need to do.

The bouncy feeling they create isn't the most intense I've ever experienced - that title goes to the California Exotics Eclipse balls - but it's pretty good. I can definitely feel it, especially when jumping or when walking up and down stairs.

These balls and the Eclipse ones will be my go-to products when I want to wear kegel balls.

These balls can be boiled or wiped down with a 10% bleach solution to sanitize. For everyday cleaning, you can wash them with soap and water or run them through the dishwasher.

Please keep in mind that no object should be kept in the vagina for more than 12 hours at a time, maximum. If you want to wear your kegel balls for longer than that, take them out at regular intervals to wash them off before re-inserting. This prevents bacteria from building up on the toy, which can cause bacterial vaginosis.

As with any silicone toy, avoid using silicone-based lube with this product.
