Oh look, a vibrating phallic thingamajig!

This is a basic vibrator. It doesn't have lights, it doesn't have self-thrusting, it doesn't have a little animal flicking against your clit- it just vibrates. And as long as it still does that, that's fine with me. If you are a beginning toy user, this will be one of your best choices of a first toy.

Here is my opinion on beginning sex toy use: Just like losing your virginity, your first tango with a sex toy should be memorable. At its very best, it should also be an enjoyable experience.

I have yet to pop my sexual intercourse cherry, but I have definitely popped my sex toy cherry. The toy that took it was a Doc Johnson Lucid Dreams, petite series. My attempts at pleasure with it failed miserably: it was too girthy for me AND while it promised multi-speeds, even the highest setting was a PITIFUL excuse for "high." I began to worry that maybe I just couldn't get off from a sex toy. Only through reading sexual health websites did I realize that I probably should've bought a smaller sex toy.

And that was why I bought the toy I am discussing today.

Quick question: what is the first image that comes to mind when you hear the word "vibrator?" Is it "slim, phallic, with a base at the end"? If so, then it matches this vibrator's description. If you want something discreet, this will be just a bad a selection as a dildo resembling a real life cock with balls.

The velvet touch vibe is multispeed, runs on two AA batteries, is pretty damn silent, and comes in various colors, just like Doc Johnson's basic four speed bullet. There is a special finish on this toy to make it feel "velvety," and I love this texture. Sometimes I forget that this is a plastic vibrator, it feels that good against my skin. When used with water based or silicon based lube, it feels even better. There is a band around where the battery compartment is located to make it waterproof. And most importantly to me, its diameter is only one inch and its length is seven inches. One inch is perfect for beginning toy users, virgin or otherwise.

As much as I like it, it still has one fault. The vibrations aren't pitiful, but they aren't intense either. They're about middle-of-the-road, intensity-wise. Then again, this is mostly a beginner's vibrator, so if you're experienced by now this is not the toy for you.

Overall, however, I believe this is a great beginner's vibrator. This toy helped me enjoy using sex toys during masturbation. I guarantee that years from now, when I'm no longer using this toy, I'll still have a nostalgic love for it. Such wonderful memories it has created.
Experience
I most often use this as a vibrating dildo while using a bullet vibe against my clit at the same time. Personally, this is a guaranteed way for me to have an explosive orgasm. If you want to try a rabbit but authentic rabbits still scare you a little bit, this "poor woman's rabbit" method may help you learn whether you will even enjoy a real rabbit vibrator.
Follow-up commentary
I bought the Evolved Novelties Seduction Holiday Edition around the time I reviewed this. I love my new vibrator so much that this one is more basic than ever to me. It's still great for beginners, but I'll be having fun with Evolved from now on.

Nice review! Still, even many beginner's need better than weak vibrations to get somewhere. Looks like a lovely vibe! Too bad it isn't stronger. Is it only one speed
