I had a hard time finishing from this the way it is probably meant to be used, but I had fun figuring out different ways to use it solo and with my partner. It's an odd toy with double ends, but a creative person can find more than two ways to use it.

LOUD, Nubs can break, Package is frustrating to reuse, Buzzy
The Ivy Intimate Touch Massager is a very odd little toy, but it works in mysterious ways. Basically it is a clit massager that can be used all over the body in different ways. The little tickler nubs or circular pad are ideally what should be making contact with the area you want to please, but you can turn and flip this device to fit various areas, even the top of your head (and I'm not talking about the head of a penis)! It's made by California Exotics and comes in a compact package. I'm impressed with the amount of vibrations options and patterns, but the noise level is a bit much. I wish this were waterproof as well. That would make it even better since the design is fairly discreet already. The small size and material composition also makes it great for travel and storing in small spaces. I can be used by anyone, solo or with a couple, male or female.
The Ivy Intimate Touch's packaging says it is made of silicone, but I'm not 100% sure of this clam because the nubs break easily. It feels more like a TPR material to me (actually the product page says TPR silicone which is not complete non-porous), assuming it is TPR silicone as stated on the product page, those sections have some give, are mostly non-porous and a little bit sticky with a good amount of drag. They will pull at pubic hair if you have any and do collect dust and lint. All materials in this toy are free of latex and phthalates. The other material is a textured plastic which is non-porous but cannot be sterilized for sharing. It's more course than a velvety matte, but isn't abrasive in any way. It helps with gripping. This toy has no odors.
The Ivy Intimate Touch Massager has a really interesting design. It is sort of shaped like a compact feminine razor, pore cleanser, or remote. Petite in size, it is about 4 5/8" long and thin, less than an inch thick. The Ivy is double sided and not meant for insertion. It is to be used externally only.
The smaller side is about 1 1/4" wide and has a patch of raised nubs on the underside. The patch is about 1" wide and 5/8" tall. The nubs are about 1/4" tall and bend fairly easily. The other side of the toy is much larger and well rounded. It is 2 1/2" wide. Each side has a depressed 1 5/8" circle in the center of it. The underside circle is coated in the same TPR silicone the nubs are made of. The entire vibrator is curved to fit under the palm of the hand. In the center (a little more towards the smaller end, however) is a nice sized button about 3/8" wide. It's a raised circle that is easy to find and push.
Around the outside of the toy is a very noticeable seam. It doesn't really matter, however. This is because it isn't for internal use. On the side is a small door that hides the battery compartment. I pops off and two AAA batteries easily slide in.
This toy is discreet and fits in small spaces. It doesn't look like a sex toy to me and probably won't to most people. It's suitable for travel and is lightweight.
The Ivy has an impressive amount of speeds and patterns for a toy of its size, price, and design. It has three steady speeds, and four patterns. Pushing the single button will start the first vibration level.
1. The first level of vibration can be heard across a room, but not through most doors. The vibrations are at a medium level (compared to all the other vibes I have tried) and is strongest in the smaller end of the vibrator. They can be felt throughout, however.
2. The second level is also a steady vibration and is quite buzzy. Within a few seconds, it can make the fingers feel numb. The vibrations can be felt throughout the entire toy a lot better, and at this level I can use either side for stimulation not just the thinner end. It's pretty loud, though. It can be heard through a door.
3. This level is steady and high. It's very loud and kind of annoying. The vibrations are buzzy and might be painful to very sensitive clits.
4. This level has two short pulses on level 2, followed by a longer pulse on the highest level. It's also very loud.
5. This level is a steady pulse pattern on the highest level of power.
6. This level is too annoying to use. It has a low pulse and then a high pulse. The noise it makes is not bearable for long.
7. The last level goes from a low level and gradually increases to a very intense level.
This toy is not waterproof or splashproof. Keep it away from water.
Ivy is easy to care for. Make sure you don't use silicone lubricants since they can gum up the TPR silicone material. To clean it, wipe it down with a toy wipe or spray and wipe with a toy cleaner. You can use soap and a damp cloth, but be careful not to saturate the toy or run it under water. Remove the batteries before storing and let it dry before putting it in the package.
The packaging is a bit of a pain to open. I ended up hurting my fingers and chipping my nail polish. It's small and minimal, though. The package is plastic and clear with leaves on it that somewhat cover the toy that can be seen underneath them. It's not much larger than the toy and makes it look suspended in plastic molds within it. It does come with a generic type paper fold-up about how to insert batteries etc. It's okay for storage but is a pain to open and get the toy back into.
At first, I wrote the Ivy off as a toy that just fails at working for me. It's quite interesting, though. The nubs don't work well for me and I have a hard time finishing from them, but if I turn the toy over and use the flat side, it delivers vibrations to my clit much better. I also like putting the nubbed area in the shallow opening of my vagina and then laying the larger end over my vulva and clit for an all over vibration. My partner enjoyed the flat area that is not covered in TPR silicone on his head. He likes when I runs my nails across his scalp and I randomly used this on him thinking it would be funny. He liked it! He also liked it when I used the uncoated side to cup his balls as I took his head into my mouth. The patterns are a lot of fun as well. We both found the last pattern to be too strong, but the rest were fine. I would recommend this to a creative couple who doesn't mind a loud toy. It has quite a few ways of being used and is fairly durable. I did notice that one of the nubs broke in half after the second use, but it doesn't affect the feel.
