Now I Have Fishy Feet
Flirty Little Favorites contains three products: pink caviar scrub, luminizing body butter, and a perfume oil. All are scented beautifully and work together well fragrance-wise. However, the scrub doesn't do much as far as exfoliating goes, and the lotion does not absorb very well. This set is also pretty expensive when considering it contains two 2 ounce tubes and one .33 ounce vial of product.

Pros
scent, shimmery lotion, perfume oil absorbs well, cute, made in the USA
Cons
scrub doesn't exfoliate well, lotion doesn't absorb, expensive
Flirty Little Favorites is a pretty cute little set. It comes with a 2 ounce tube of pink caviar scrub, a 2 ounce tube of luminizing body butter, and a .33 ounce glass vial of perfume oil. All of this is packaged into a shiny silver box with raised lace and bow details all over it. All of the items are held by a plastic tray in the box and the whole packaged set has the look of a Christmas gift set to it.
Both the scrub and the body butter come in black tubes with pink flip-tops. They have “Flirty Little Secret,” written in shiny silver on them, with the rest of the wording being done in pink or white font. The back of each tube provides instructions for use. The body butter is supposed to be massaged into skin to help lock in moisture and the scrub is supposed to be massaged into damp skin and rinsed off. Both of these are to be used externally and are not edible. The perfume oil comes in a little black glass vial with a metallic pink plastic screw on lid. Underneath the lid is a plastic roller-ball tip, which applies the perfume oil smoothly and evenly to skin.
First, I’d like to talk about the pink caviar scrub. It’s used to exfoliate the skin and hydrate it with jojoba oil and shea butter. It also has antioxidants grape seed and soy for healthier skin. The box describes the scent as light lemon raspberry, which is pretty accurate. The scent is sweet and refreshing. I can smell mostly a sweet berry scent, with undertones of lemon. As a scrub, the initial texture of this is pretty good. It’s got lots of little scrub beads in it that start out exfoliating pretty well, but they all disappear pretty quickly and you are left with the oily feeling of the moisturizers on skin. Compared to products like St. Ive’s apricot scrub, this is not a good scrub at all. It pretty much just puts tons of oil on skin to soften it and keep it moisturized. Because of this, it shouldn’t be used on skin that is acne prone, since the oils may clog pores up. I preferred to use this on rougher areas of my body, like my feet, elbows, and knees. It made me feel nice and soft and left me sweetly scented for most of the day. This scrub also includes pheromones, but I don’t feel they worked all too well. Both my fiancé and I just thought this stuff smells yummy, not sexy.
Ingredients:
Shea Butter, Sucrose, Safflower Seed Oil, Soybean Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetyl Alcohol, Jojoba Seed Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Aleurites Moluccana Seed Oil, PEG-30 Glyceryl Cocoate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caviar Extract, PVP/VA Copolymer, Mica, Benzophenone-2, Androstadienone, Estratetraenol, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Limonene, Linalool, Red 33 (CI 17200), Yellow 5 (CI 19140).
I’d like to note that this product DOES include actual caviar, which is fish eggs. It’s a little disgusting to think that I am rubbing caviar extract on my skin, but it’s towards the end of the ingredient list, so it’s not a major ingredient. As you can see, the main ingredients of this scrub are oils. Since sugar is so high on the list, I do think it may be used to make the scrubbers in this. I have used a sugar body scrub before, and the scrubbers do dissolve very quickly in a sugar scrub as well. Mica is included in the ingredient list, but I didn’t notice any shimmer to either the scrub or my skin after using it.
The luminizing body butter isn’t exactly a body butter. Body butters typically come in a jar because they are super thick. This stuff isn’t as thick as a body butter, but it is thicker than most lotions. In appearance, it’s a pearly pink lotion. It rubs into skin very well and leave skin silky soft and very shimmery. I don’t think it does a great job at moisturizing, since most of it just sits on skin. More of it would need to absorb into skin to moisturize it. Because it sits on the skin, it feels a little heavy and a tiny bit greasy. It doesn’t leave skin super shimmery, but it does leave a subtle amount of shimmer. The scent is blackberry and honey. I think it just smells like blackberries. It’s very sweet, fruity, and fresh. It’s also not too strong. This includes antioxidants cranberry and Acai berry for healthier skin. Pheromones are also used, but as with the scrub, we didn’t notice them.

Experience
Compared to my normal body lotion, which is an Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion with oatmeal, this isn’t all that great. It’s cute and sweetly scented, but does nothing for my super thirsty and dry hands. It would work well as a massage lotion, though, since it doesn’t absorb.
Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Caprylic/Capric Tryglyceride, PEG-100 Stearate, Glycol Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Triethanolamine, Neopentyl Glycol, Diheptanoate, Isododecane, Dimethicone, Propylene Glycol, Passiflora Edulis Seed Oil, Carthamus, Safflower, Andresyl, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Astrocaryum Murumuru Seed Butter, Thebroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter, Cranberry Seed Oil, Cranberry Fruit, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Natamycin, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Eugenol, Cinnamal, Red 40 (CI 16035), Red 33 (CI 1720).
That’s a lot of ingredients for just a small bottle of lotion. As you can see, though, the number two ingredient is glycerin. Users with sensitive skin beware. I noticed no irritation to my skin after using this lotion. As with the scrub, I avoided using it on my face because of the amount of oils in these products. I preferred to use it on skin that isn’t acne prone.
Finally, there’s the perfume oil. This stuff is easy to apply with the roller-ball tip. It absorbs into skin very well, leaving just the scent behind on skin. I noticed the scent usually faded away after about 6-7 hours of wear. At first, this feels a bit heavy on skin, but as it absorbs, the heavy feeling goes away. There’s no shimmer or anything to this perfume, it’s just a clear oil when smoothed on. It doesn’t leave skin shiny. The box says the scent is fruity and floral, but I think it’s mostly floral. It has a powdery fresh feminine scent to it. The notes are listed as: plum, raspberry, jasmine, cedar, and sandalwood. I can smell the jasmine, cedar, and sandalwood, but not really the plum or raspberry. That might be just me, though. As with the other two products, this contains pheromones. However, this product’s pheromones actually work. My fiancé felt extremely attracted to the scent and was constantly kissing my neck and smelling the skin I applied this to. Out of the three pieces, I enjoyed this one the most. I actually wear this as a regular perfume every day now because I love the fresh and feminine scent of it.
Ingredients:
Jojoba Seed Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Silica, Androstadienone, Estratetraenol, Fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Hydroxyisohexyl, 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Geraniol.
While this set isn’t super functional, it is cute and beautifully scented. I think it would make a great gift for any woman. When comparing the price to the amount of each product in the kit, it’s pretty expensive, though, at approximately $12 per product. Because of this, a gift set from Bath and Body Works may be a better option. While I did enjoy using these products after a bath, I don’t think I will be using them in my daily routine.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I still like this set, but I have found a body scrub that I like more than the caviar scrub included in this set, the Venus Body Scrub. That scrub doesn't leave my skin feeling like there's so much oil sitting on top of it, which I prefer for my feet. Walking with oily feet gets pretty slippery pretty quick.
