The Waterproof Jungle-G Tiger is an unspectacular, cheap, plastic vibe that would likely be okay for beginners. However, more experienced users should definitely look elsewhere since this won't satisfy. I didn’t have particularly high hopes for this toy in the first place, so I’m not too disappointed.

Pros
Good for beginners, Easy to use, Inexpensive, Waterproof
Cons
Only two speeds, Poor overall construction, Not enough for advanced users
The Waterproof Jungle-G Tiger is intended for vaginal insertion and G-spot stimulation and can be used for external clitoral use as well. However, I would not recommend this for anal use due to safety issues. The hook and base are of a relatively uniform width compared to that of the vibe, and the toy could get lost inside of you.
The Jungle-G Tiger is made of a very hard plastic that looks glossy and is smooth to the touch; I did not detect any taste or odor coming from it. The material is very easy to clean and does not attract dust or dirt in any way.
The Jungle-G Tiger is designed with a curved tip that is intended to rub against your G-spot. It has a cool animal print which is good if you like this pattern, and it’ll definitely stand out next to your more plainly colored toys. Since this is intended for use as a shower toy, it has a cap that screws firmly in place to keep water from entering the battery compartment in the shower or tub. The cap has one large button, so it isn’t intimidating for beginners. It also has a large black hook at the bottom that is designed to store this toy in the shower for easy access. I found that it worked well when I hung it from the tap, but it was too narrow to fit onto my shower head. If you use a shower caddy to store your essentials, you could probably hang it from there as well.
Just for the sake of covering all of my bases: I could potentially see someone trying to use this attached hook as a handle to keep the toy from getting lost during anal use, but I would not recommend doing so. It’d be like using a coat hanger as a grappling hook – in either case, you’re not using the object for its intended purpose.
According to my measurements, the toy itself is about 8” inches long including the hook and 6” long including only the insertable length which makes this a non-intimidating size for a beginner. I measured the circumference as less than 4” (probably close to 3.5”) so this puts the toy firmly into safe beginner’s territory. This toy would pretty universally be too small and lacking in features to satisfy a more advanced user.
The Jungle-G Tiger is easy to use: you press the button once to start the lower speed, twice to activate the higher speed, and three times to turn it off. As soon as I turned this toy on, I noticed that it is about as powerful as the average hard plastic vibe but definitely louder. I buried this toy in my pillow/sheets and could clearly hear the vibrations through the material. Those who prefer variation in their sex toys will be disappointed because there is not much of a difference between this toy’s speed settings - save the fact that the second one is a lot louder which won't do you any good unless you're in the habit of buying sex toys in order to listen to them.
I tested the Jungle-G Tiger’s waterproofing by using it in the shower and placing it under running water in my sink. The seal seems to be durable, since when I unscrewed the cap afterward, I didn’t see any water in the battery compartment, and the toy still worked. In actual use, this toy is also fairly unspectacular. The hard material carries the vibrations well, and they felt good but so do many other vibes with similar features. It's probably better for beginners since nothing about this toy (aside from the animal-print design) really makes it unique.
Plastic is phthalate-free and non-porous, so there are a few places for bacteria to hide. You can also use pretty much any form of lube (water-based, oil-based, and silicone-based) on this toy. Cleanup is easy: just use antibacterial soap and water or a commercial toy cleaner. Although it is not porous, you can’t boil plastic to sterilize it, so I would recommend using a condom over this vibe if you want to share it with others. This toy should not melt other toys or otherwise adversely affect them in storage.
The product comes in a clamshell casing with a hole at the top for hanging. The packaging is not discreet at all since the front features a model wearing orange/brownish lingerie and states the name of the product in large, white lettering. The front of the package also states that the product is waterproof, has two speeds, and that the “newly designed cap” allows you to hang this product in your shower. It also features the name and logo of the manufacturer California Exotics.
The back features a picture of the product, more information, and the word “vibrator” in English, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, and French. I can’t imagine this would be that helpful since everything else is only in English, but the packaging speaks for itself. The “fine print” informs the consumer that the product was made in China, is “sold as a novelty only”, and that one should “twist the cap securely before use”, among other disclaimers and warnings.
Overall, my experience with this vibe was nothing special. I have gotten a similar amount of, or more, g-spot stimulation from toys that aren’t specifically marketed to serve that purpose. I find that it is far easier and more pleasurable to get g-spot stimulation from gradually curved heads of toys made with a better and softer material (silicone for the win!) than it is from a toy made of hard plastic that just becomes uncomfortable after a while.
I did get some pleasure from both leaving the toy in place and thrusting it in and out, but the latter felt like I was poking my g-spot with a sharp object. I then spun the hooked end around so that it rubbed against the posterior wall of my vagina instead, and it gave me an interesting sensation. In terms of external stimulation, pressing the curved tip of this toy on my clit as opposed to the blunt end changed the feeling, and I did get off from using the toy there.
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that there is a pronounced seam running up and down the length of the vibrator (bisecting the two sides), and it's most noticeable at the G-spot tip. I’m not sure how much this contributed to my discomfort when I rubbed it against my G-spot, but I’m sure that it had at least some effect. I'm not sure if I have a defective vibe or if everyone else will have the same problem, but this definitely smacks of shoddy quality control and materials.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it5 months after original review
I can't say that I have pulled this toy out of storage since I first used and reviewed it. It's just...mediocre, and I have better toys that I could get better use out of. This fact doesn't surprise me, either.
