Not Worth the Price
I'm sorry to say that I would recommend skipping this one, the price point is too high for a plain Jane vibrator.

Pros
Not intimidating, designed by "experts"
Cons
Button placement is clumsy, boring design
I think that the title pretty much sums up my opinion. The Femblossom works, but I think my 'fun money' could have been better spent on a product that might have brought more...fun. I chose the white/blue color option, but there are several other fun colors to choose from including orange/white, purple/white, and lime/white.
Let's start with what I like about the product...
I like that the Femblossom comes in beautiful packaging - it sets high expectations. It is essentially a cardboard box with a separate box for the charger. I kept it stored in there for a while, but it took up too much space for it to be kept in a drawer, which is my storage method of choice. It would be great for storage if you do not mind the bulkiness.
I like that the Femblossom was designed not only with consideration for a woman's curves, but also with sexual health professionals. The manufacturer's website showcases excellent information that was both informative and educational. I also like that the Femblossom has a heat feature. The theory behind the heat feature is that it intensifies the orgasm. I like that the Femblossom has an antibacterial agent that (reportedly) allows the vibe to be sterile after wiping with water. Lastly, my favourite feature is that this vibe is rechargeable -- no batteries! This is important, because using the vibrator with the heat feature really drains the unit.
Here's what failed to impress me…
The vibe makes for a decent stimulator, but it fails to bring me to orgasm as quickly as I would prefer. The design, which takes those curves into consideration, is, in my opinion, somewhat boring. It is 7 inches long with a width of 3.5 inches at the widest spot. The heat feature might be for some, but it just generally annoys me. Call me crazy, but I just don't enjoy the combination of heat and non-orgasmic vibration for extended periods of time. As for the antibacterial agent, well I love the idea of it, but I don't know that I fully trust it. So while it is a nice feature, I am sticking with the old-fashioned soap and water method. The vibe itself is plastic, which isn't my favourite material, but it is not bad either. Finally, the buttons are situated on the top of the unit and in the center, it's not exactly easy access.
There are a number of vibration modes and three heat levels (high, medium, and low). The temps are about what you would expect, the low setting is more along the lines of your skin's natural temperature and the high setting is about what you might expect from a heating pad. You do not have to use the heat setting with the vibrations unless you want. The vibration modes are as follows: Regular vibration - high, medium, and low; Pulse vibration - high, medium, and low; an escalating mode; and a triangle mode (escalating and de-escalating). The escalating and triangle modes were OK for foreplay, nothing was too intense, more like not quite intense enough.
A word about compatible lubricants: the manual doesn't state anything about not using silicone lubes. So, technically, I would think that you could use silicone or water-based lubes. That said, I don't know if silicone lubes could degrade the antibacterial properties of the unit. To be on the safe side, I am sticking with water-based formulas.
I have used this vibe solo and with my partner. I'm not a big fan of it for either. I think as a tool for foreplay, it works but not fantastically well. It's something we grab if the other choices aren't charged. It's a shame but my general lack of enthusiasm for this product has kept it in the dresser drawer more often than not. I don't really like it, so we don't really use it.
There's a big part of me that would recommend this vibe for a first-time user. It isn't intimidating at all. The problem is that the price tag is just too high. You could purchase a luxury vibe at a similar price point or buy several less expensive toys. I really wanted to like this -- I still want to like it, but in the end, I think it isn't worth the money.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
Though I have attempted to use this vibrator several times since my last review, it just isn't growing on me. I am sorry I parted with the money for this one and wish that I had chosen a different model or brand.

Thank you for the review. I guess they're charging a high price because of the heated feature and the antibacterial ability, too bad it didn't work for what it's meant for.
