While Lucy will use vibrators for solo use, we both enjoy using them during couples play time. I really enjoy seeing the pleasure Lucy receives when I use a vibrator on her. Unfortunately I can not seem to get it just right when using the Triple Tong on her. Because of the firmness of the tongs located in the head of this vibrator, I applied either too much or too little pressure. The tongs on this vibrator seem to work best for us when it is just lightly resting against her clit. Too little pressure and it tickles, too much and it causes her discomfort. Having said that, it does work wonderfully well when she is in control. So when using this vibrator, I guess I'll have to let go and let her be in control! She also enjoys using the base, where the strongest vibrations occur, against her entire genital area.

We tried using the Triple Tong on other areas of the body with mixed results. She said it felt good on her neck and back, although she thought it was too small to use as a body massager. We tried it on her nipples, and it tickled. Using it on the upper thighs worked well as she knew where it was headed!

Some may be able to use it internally, but we have not yet tried because she fears the tongs may "poke" her.
Would definitely not use it for internal anal stimulation as the attached cord may not be strong enough to pull it back out, resulting in an embarrassing trip to the ER.

If you are into sharing toys, this would not be the one to share since it can not be sterilized. I also doubt a condom could be used over it because of the possibility of being torn by the tongs. With the low price on this toy, why not just buy another to share?

When we first removed the Triple Tong from the cellophane wrapper it came in, I was surprised at the lack of odor that normally is associated with jelly toys. There was a faint rubbery smell, but nothing that either of us found offensive.
The jelly surface of the vibrator has a smooth, soft, somewhat tacky texture, which from previous experience seems to attract lint. We had expected the tongs located at the head to be soft and somewhat flexible, similar to the ears on Lucys' rabbit vibrator. These were much firmer which lead us to initially believe that the vibrations would not be felt easily.
The attached control box is made of translucent plastic and,like the vibrator itself, has no texture.

At first glance this looks downright scary! Exactly what are we supposed to do with it?

The Triple Tong consists of a bullet-style vibrator located in the base of this 4-1/2 inch long jelly covered vibrator. The head of the vibrator has three tongs looking somewhat like the top of a rooster's head. The tongs are about the same diameter of a pencil. Vibrations created by the bullet are passed from the base through the jelly to the tongs, causing them vibrate. These vibrations do not feel that strong when held in your hand but, as we soon found out, they are more than adequate when resting on the clit and vulva. The vibrations felt at the base where the bullet is located are quite strong. This is great when nestled lightly against the clit, but my wife found that when holding it at the base her fingers became somewhat numb.

The controls are found on a separate control box, connected to the vibrator by a 30-inch long cable. This cable enters the bottom of the vibrator and is attached to the bullet. Time will tell how long this cable remains functional as there seems to be little reinforcement where it connects to the bullet.

Lucy would be considered an advanced user, yet thought it would work equally well for a beginner.

At 4-1/2" the length of this vibrator is just about right when used externally, yet is small enough to be kept in a small discreet cosmetic bag for traveling or storage.

One problem with many vibrators is the ease in which the controls can be used. This is not a concern with the Triple Tong. The separate control has an easy-to-use rotary dial which can be adjusted with one hand. Turning the dial increases the vibrations from off to a satisfing high. Lucy thought the highest setting was more than adequate, while not being overwhelming. Our past experience with separate controls has fluctuated between no problems at all to instances of nocturnal cord entanglement leading to cord separation. With the 30" cable from the control to the vibrator, hopefully we will not have problems with this one.

This toy uses 2-AA batteries which are very easily installed in the separate control box.

The vibrations originate from the bullet located at the base and spread through the jelly material to the head. My wife thought that the intensity of the vibrations in the head diminished as pressure was applied, so a lighter touch improved the results for her. When using the bullet end for stimulation a sligtly lower setting worked best.

This is one of the quietest vibrators she has, even at the highest speed. At times I can not hear it at all and am unaware that it is on unless I place my hand on it to feel the vibrations.

The Triple Tong is not waterproof, and I am sure that using it in water or cleaning the controls with water would lead to a premature death of an otherwise nice vibrator.

For some, this toy's maintenance may not be user friendly. Since it is jelly it can not be sterilized, but rather must be cleaned with warm water or a toy cleaner. In our case we have found that a good toy cleaner is easier to use.

Use of a lube is almost a necessity when using this toy. Either a water based or silicone lube is recommended. The box it was packaged in stated that oil based lubes were not to be used with it. Because of its size storage is not a major concern. It can easily be stored in a Zip Lock bag, or a small cosmetic bag which is what we use.

The Triple Tong comes in a small cardboard box with a non-offensive picture on it. The vibrator enclosed is wrapped in an air tight cellophane bag. As most purchasers of this item have an idea on how to use it, no instructions are included on its use. Heck, half the fun is playing around with it and finding out what works for you. The only thing stated on the box is that oil based lubes are not to be used.
