Not what I expected, but I'm glad
This egg is very much worth the purchase. It is built to last forever, and contains great healing minerals to really increase vaginal health. Doing kegel exercises with this is great for increasing pleasure during sex, healing some organ problems, and it feels great to use!

Pros
Big enough to stay in, made of great material, not so big it hurts, feels great!
Cons
The egg is cold.
When I ordered the Crystal Egg, I expected a small ben-wa style ball. This was not the case. The Crystal Egg is a large egg-sized ball made of onyx, jasper, jade, clear quartz, rose quartz, and amethyst. The booklet says that this is for a healing experience. At the bottom of the egg is a plastic cord used to pull the egg out, and gives the option for adding more weight to the egg by attaching the little red bag it comes in, and filling that with weights for extra workout. I was instantly flabbergasted when I saw the manual for this product. It comes with a 4 page manual with guides for different uses. Each use is a variation of the most simple form (just putting the egg in and doing kegels).
According to the booklet/manual, the gemstone egg is used to relax chronic muscle tension, tone the muscles of the vagina, perineum, and lower abdomen, increase orgasmic pleasure (for you AND your partner), increase the flow of sexual hormones, and to lift and support prolapsed organs like the bladder. Initially, I did not know that these exercises helped with bladder problems, until I really read the manual and talked to a friend of mine. I have a fairly common bladder disorder, Interstitial Cystitis, which means that the lining of the bladder is wearing down and causes you to pee a lot. Doing these exercises greatly improves this condition, which is just great! I really hadn't expected this product to be such a natural, feminist-style product.
I was a little scared at first when I looked at the egg. I felt like putting an object the size of an actual egg inside my vagina could be uncomfortable. I found this to be false. It it a little tight in the initial push to put it in, but once it is sitting comfortably inside, it does not hurt at all. Actually, it feels pretty good. I've been starting out with the basic kegel exercises doing repetitions of 20 (as suggested for beginners). While doing these exercises, I became wonderfully aroused. I have not yet had a full on orgasm while exercising, but the feeling is very nice and comfortable. This makes exercise fun! I tried putting it in and going to class, and I found it to be perfectly suitable for this type of situation. I felt increased pleasure, which made me pretty happy, but not too much pleasure (having an orgasm in class could be awkward). Walking around the buildings felt pretty good, and I found myself doing the kegels much more often. Due to the size of the egg, I wasn't really worried about it falling out, but when doing the exercises at home, it is suggested that you put a towel or something on the floor, under your legs just in case.
Cleaning the egg is incredibly easy. You can use either soap and water or alcohol to clean it off once you're done. The manual even suggests grapefruit extract diluted in water. The egg should NOT be boiled, however, because there is a possibility of cracking it. The egg has no coatings or shellacs to create the shiny appearance, it has been tumbled. Over time, the shine will dissipate due to the acids in your body fluids, but the manual suggests rubbing some lube or natural oil on the egg if you want to keep it shiny.
Apparently this egg is an ancient Chinese remedy taught to queens and concubines. Those who were able to master this exercise had great health, beauty, and youth. It was used to uplift the sexual energy inward and upward to create a level of balance, to heal, and nourish the body. I haven't been using the egg enough yet to show positive improvement in my sexual muscles/health/life, but I definitely believe it has the power to. I'm going to keep using this egg, and I expect to see good results.

Same as always, workin' those kegels. The sheen wears off after a little while, but it is still in perfect using condition. The more you use them, the stronger your muscles get, and the better the stimulation.

Great review! I've been looking at this for a while, wondering if it was really worth it. I adore the idea of stone kegel eggs. I have a similar shape made of glass, and I agree, they're surprisingly comfortable.

Very nice review, thanks!

I've been looking at these too - they look really nice

I don't think a cold egg is really a con. Warm water quickly remedies that.

Love that these are stone. Thanks for the review!
