The light up feature is probably my favorite part about it. The vibrations just are not very strong, and the broad tip offers absolutely no pinpoint vibrations. On the other hand if you prefer more diffused vibrations then this toy could do the trick for you.

Pros
lights up, cool color, easy to use, waterproof
Cons
weak vibrations, no pinpoint vibrations, lint magnet
The craze cutie is meant for external stimulation, although I suppose the tip could be used for some very shallow penetration. It could also be used to stimulate other erogenous zones (eg.nipples), but because it does not have any base I would not recommend this for anal use unless you are really excited about the prospect of taking a trip to the ER. It is waterproof so it can be used in the shower/bath. Oh and it doubles as a flash light in a pinch. I got the Craze Cutie because I wanted to get a clitoral vibrator and honestly because it was on sale at the time.
The Cutie is made of a Phthalates free hard plastic and TPR. It has a very slight smell if my nose is right up against it, but I would not say it is unpleasant and no noticeable taste. The base of the toy is made from a hard plastic while the tip is made of TPR that makes the tip somewhat bendable and plushy. The TPR has quite a bit of drag, so I recommend using some lube with this toy. The whole toy is smooth without any texture apart from a slight seam seam running along the toy. The TPR part on the end picks up a ton of lint, so you are probably going to want to give it a quick rinse off before use.
The toy has a sort of hourglass shape with one side significantly shorter than the other, similar to a bowling pin. The whole toy is 5 1/2 inches tall. The longer end is 4 1/2 long with a 5 3/4 circumference, and the shorter end is about 1 1/2 inches long with a 4 inch circumference. At the base of the larger end, there are two buttons that operate the toy. The shape of the toy and placement made it very easy to use and operate during use. I'd say it is somewhat discreet, if someone saw it sitting out I doubt they would be able to figure out what it is without a closer look, a friend of mine said it looks like some kind of modern kitchen tool more than a vibrator. This toy would be great for travel. It is small, discreet, and with the batteries taken out you have no worries about a buzzing bag and having to get a little too friendly with TSA.
The toy is operated using two buttons on the base. The two buttons are made from the same TPR as the tip, and they are both raised which makes them very easy to find without having to look at the toy. One button is a dedicated on/off button, so it is really easy to turn off in a hurry. The second button cycles through all of the functions which I will list at the bottom of this section. One issue I had with this toy is a lack of pinpoint vibrations but that is just personal preference. The vibrations come from the tip of the toy but, they are not as strong as I would personally like. The craze can be clearly heard under a blanket and just barely heard through a closed door so if you are worried about discretion you might want to either keep looking or use this when no one is within earshot. I tested this toy fully submersed in a bathtub and it worked just fine, and there was no water in the battery compartment after use.
1- light on (no vibrations)
2- consistent vibrations
3- fast pulsating (my favorite)
4- faster pulsation/constant speed/faster constant speed
5- slow pulsation/fast pulsation/slightly faster pulsation
6- high constant speed/ medium constant speed/ low constant speed/ medium constant speed/ high constant speed (like a really slow wave
7- pulse then constant/slow pulsation
8-pulsation/constant speed
then it loops back around.
Because this toy is waterproof it is really easy to clean. Just run it under some warm water with a mild antibacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner. It seems like some gunk could get stuck in the space where the hard plastic meets the TPR, but I have not had any problems with that. The cutie is compatible with water based and silicone based lubes. I keep mine stored in a drawstring bag and that works great.
The Cutie Came in a flimsy plastic box that could potentially be used for storage, but it takes up some extra room so I use a drawstring bag instead. Inside the box, there is a pamphlet with some generic information that does not even really apply to the Cutie. The packaging does not really scream sex toy, but it does say massager on the front and the company name, California Exotic Novelties is all over it, and you can clearly see the toy.
First off I'd like to mention that there are two little lines on the base, on the end that unscrews to put the batteries in and one on the other part of the toy. Those two lines need to match up in order to get the toy to turn on. Personally I was not a huge fan of the cutie, the vibrations were not strong enough for me and there is no pinpoint vibrations. I do like that it lights up, that is pretty nifty.
The first time I used the cutie I was somewhat disappointed with the vibration level, which I think is because of the broad tip. I thought that it might be because the batteries I was using were dying, so I got some new batteries. The vibrations were slightly stronger but still nothing to write home about. I also was not a huge fan of many of the vibration patterns. The second or third time I tried it out in the bathtub and I did not notice any change in function, it did not seem to work any worse underwater.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it10 months after original review
I gave this vibe a few more tries and then gave up all hope for it and I haven't touched it since.
