If you are feeling frisky enough to want to have a little bit of texture with your kegal exersizes then these would certainly work for you. However if you tend to be more sensitive, you might want to find something that has the weight but is smoother to the touch.
The Little Frisky Nubbed are a set of kegal balls which are small weighted devices that can help strengthen a woman's vaginal and pelvic floor muscles. They are meant to be worn when you are moving so that the counter weight inside each ball moves, making your muscles react by clenching down on the balls to keep them in place. They can also be used to just give additional stimulation for forplay when you are out in public and wish to play with your partner discreetly. The textured nubs on this, are from what I was able to tell give additional stimulation.
Even though this toy has a retrieval cord, it is far too small and has no flared base, so it is not an anal toy.
Upon removing the Little Frisky from its packaging, I didn't notice a smell at all which was good because they are made out of Silicone which has a safety rating of 10, because it is Food-grade material, Hypo-allergenic, Latex free, Non-porous and Phthalates free. The silicone had a slightly velvety texture to them that dragged on the skin slightly, so you will want to use lubrication upon inserting them.
The nubbed texture when you are feeling it with your fingers, feels rather smooth and has just a tiny bit of give to it depending on the pressure that you use. However, when I was inserting the toy to test, they instead felt like tiny little scraping bits against any skin that they happened to touch. And this was with me using a generous amount of lubrication.
The full lenght of this toy is about 8 inches, with 5 1/4th of that being insertable and the rest being the retrival cord. Each ball weighs about 0.2lbs for a total weight of 0.4lbs. Circumfrance wise they are 4 3/4ths around, which is the same size as the Smart Balls Teneo Duo and Uno for a bit of reference if you have ever use either of them. The shape of each ball is just a simple round sphear that fits easily into the body much like Ben Wa balls.
They only come in the purple color, though it would be nice to see them in other colors.
The cord that attaches the two balls, along with the retrival cord are all silicone as well. The round eye at the end of the cord made it easy to grasp for removal.
For a set of kegal ball, these where actually great once my body got past the texture which I was a little to sensitive for. They stayed in place while stimulating the muscles, as well as giving me a little extra revving up that day for when I got home. I wore them once during a work out which was just a simple jog on a treadmill and then once during a day of work which was a lot of walking around as well as bending, kneeling and other movements.
After each use I could tell a slight difference then if I had used my Teneo Uno, thanks to the added weight of their being two balls.
Because these are made of silicone, they are easy to care for. You will want to use water based lubrication when you are inserting these as anything else will ruin the material.
As for cleaning, you have many options. From boiling in water or using a 10% bleach solution to sterilize them or as easy as using soap and water. You can even use toy wipes if you wish.
Because of their size they are easy to store either in a toy box, travel bag, or purse.
The toy was packaged in a clear front plastic box which is not discreet at all, showing the toy clearly. Though it can be recycled or used as a way to store it if you wish.
Inside there is a plastic tray to hold the toy that is held in by cardboard on the back of which has the toys use, tips and instructions on the back in various languages English, French, German, Russian and Spanish. It also has great tips on why Silicone is a good material for the body which I loved. However the text was very small to fit in all the languages.
Here is where it gets confusing. On the side of the box it reads: An Effective Workout For Vaginal Muscles.
But on the back it reads in the caution section: This product is not intended for therapeutic purposes and is recommended for external use only.
Because of that I had to take the rating down further.
To me these where just too textured for there intended purpose, while my body might be able to get used to them in time in the time that I had to review this it was just not happening. On the other hand, I loved the added weight so I think I am going to have to look into just finding a different toy.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it3 months after original review
I have tried this a few times, and this still just doesn't work for me. I tried my hardest to get used to the texture, but it just didn't seem to want to happen. While I adore texture in my other toys, when it comes to kegal balls my lady parts need them to be smooth and not little mace balls of doom.
If you think you can handle or get used to the texture, I say these will work for you.

These do look like they've got some major texture, even for a texture lover like me!
