Not At All Like The Real Thing
Sqweel 2 is a unique, fun toy but I feel like I may have expected too much. I had read many people stating that it rocks their world, but I didn't experience any earth-rocking. Sqweel 2, at best, is a teasing toy for me. The first and second speed is too mild for me. I think that most people would enjoy the toy and be satisfied with the speeds, but I'm not most people. I don't have a hard time getting off with my partner during oral sex, but I do when it comes to this toy.

Pros
Silicone, unique, easy to use/clean, 3 speeds, reverse/flicker mode, other wheels available.
Cons
too much pressure causes wheel to stop completely, lubricant is required.
Sqweel 2 by LoveHoney is available with either a black or white casing. I have the white casing. The toy arrived in a cardboard package with the toy being visible through the plastic at the front of the box. The packaging is not discreet. The packaging is not ideal for storing the toy.
Inside of the box, the toy sits on a plastic insert. There is an included owner’s guide, which states the warnings, how to use the toy, and how to care for the toy. The manual has pictures with the instruction to make it even easier for the user.
The casing to the toy is made of a hard plastic. There is a pink plastic lid to the toy that can be seen through. The wheel inside of the casing is made of silicone. The wheel has ten protruding “tongues”. The tongues are flexible and do not have any texture to them. Each tongue has a seam line running down the centre of it, though I didn’t feel the seam when using it.
The toy has a very unique shape to it. With the lid on the toy, the total length is approximately 5 ¼ inches and 4 ½ inches wide. The toy is approximately 1 ½ inches thick. Each tongue is 1 inch in length and 1 inch wide at the widest part of the tongue (centre). The tips of the tongues are approximately ½ an inch wide. Each tongue is 1 inch away from the next, measured at the very tip of each tongue.
Sqweel requires 3x AAA batteries, which are not included. The battery compartment is located at the back bottom of the toy. The compartment is easy to access and close. The toy is not waterproof.
With the wheel being made of silicone, only water-based lubricants should be used with it. The directions actually state that a lubricant should be used with the toy. The silicone does have a bit of drag to it. If you want it to feel like a semi-real tongue you should put lubricant on the tongues, the area where you’ll be using the tongues, or both.
There are two buttons located at the front bottom of the toy. The larger button of the two has a triangle on it (it reminds me of the “play” button on a DVD player) and the smaller button to the right has two arrows on it. To turn Sqweel on, just press the button with the triangle on it. When the toy is on, the background to both buttons will light up a bright blue colour.
When you turn the toy on, you’re met with the lowest speed for the tongues. There are a 3 speeds: low, medium, and high. To cycle through the speeds, just click that larger button. When you’re at the highest speed and click that button again, you’ll be back at the lowest speed again. This button with the triangle on it is also used to turn the toy off. To turn Sqweel off at any time, just hold this button down for a couple of seconds.
The other button to the toy controls 2 different modes: reverse, and flicker. When the toy is on, the wheel goes in a counter clockwise direction. You can click the smaller button on any speed that you prefer and the wheel will start turning in the opposite direction (clockwise). You can always increase the speed by clicking the larger button with the triangle on it while it is in reverse mode.
The last mode to the smaller button with the two arrows on it is “flicker”. To get to this mode, you have to click the reverse button once more. The flicker mode makes the wheel go back and fourth, so it will spin clockwise for a second, than counter clockwise, and repeat. If you try the flicker mode and want to go back to just the basic spinning, click the reverse button again and you’ll be back to normal.
The noise level to the toy increases as you increase the speed level. On the highest speed level, the toy can be heard from beneath the blankets but not through a closed door. You can definitely tell the differences between the three speeds. While the vroom rating is usually for vibrating toys, I’ve used that rating for the speed levels. The lowest speed is a 2 out of 5, middle speed is a 3, and the highest is a 4.
When pressure is applied to the tongues, the wheel will stop. On the lowest speed, it really doesn’t take much pressure for the wheel to stop turning completely.

Experience
...continued
The higher the speed level, the more pressure can be applied before the wheel stops turning. So of course, I kept the wheel on the highest speed.
I applied lubricant only to the area where I was using the toy. I didn’t have any issue with the material dragging. The toy can be used for clitoral stimulation or stimulation of other areas of the body such as nipples, testicles, etc. I used the toy for clitoral stimulation but eventually will try using it on my partner.
The toy is supposed to simulate oral sex but honestly, I’ve never had oral sex feel like that. Maybe my partner is just really good at giving oral though. It’s not that the toy was bad, but it’s not what I was expecting. However, I did like the reverse mode and the highest speed was nice. I think I may need more time to get used to a toy like this.
Cleaning the toy requires a bit more work than regular toys. The toy needs to be disassembled (I know this sounds scary but it’s simple and I’ll explain step by step). The toy is made up of four pieces: the lid, the casing, the front panel, and the wheel. All of these pieces can be taken apart to access the wheel.
Step 1: take the lid off if you haven’t already.
Step 2: Unlock the front panel at the front of the toy. You do this by clicking the little tab at the front of the toy (just above the buttons) over to the right. This tab is labelled with a photo of a lock so you won’t miss it.
Step 3: Now that the front panel is unlocked, slide it upwards and off of the toy.
Step 4: Pull the silicone wheel towards you and it will come off the toy.
So now you have 4 pieces to the toy and each can be cleaned separately. The wheel and toy can be cleaned with toy wipes, toy spray, or soap and water. Just remember that the toy is not waterproof so you’ll want to use a damp cloth on the casing rather than putting it under water. The silicone wheel can be sterilized with a bleach/water solution or wiping it down with rubbing alcohol (the same goes for the plastic casing). Once it’s all cleaned and dried, you just follow the steps I’ve written backwards to put it back together.
I’ve given the toy a 3 out of 5 because it's a nice looking toy and I think it will work really well for others but it just didn't do it for me. The first speed is basically useless since it can only barely be touching the area or it will stop completely. It’s a unique, interesting toy but I guess I just had expected a lot more. Many people had made it seem like it was going to provide earth shattering orgasms but I didn’t experience that at all. It’s nice, but I’d take my partner’s tongue over the Sqweel any day.

Follow-up commentary
6 months after original review
It seems that this product really is a hit or miss. Sadly, it was a miss for me. A few people had suggested that I use it a few more times to get used to it. After a few more times, I can tell you that my feelings for the toy haven't changed.

I just saw your review while I was doing the follow-up for my Sqweel. Definitely don't like mine either! Great video and review though. Thanks!
