If I could redesign this lubricant, I would alter the taste a bit, make it thicker, try to use fewer ingredients (it is called "natural" after all), and I'd stick only the pertinent information on the back of the bottle. Still, I wouldn't mess with the pros that already exist with this lubricant, and that is worth 2 stars.

Pros
No Glycerin. No Parabens. Smells Great.
Cons
Too Thin. Odd Aftertaste. Aspartame May Cause Irritation.
The Wet naturals sensual strawberry lube is marketed towards those with sensitive skin and those with qualms about glycerin or parabens. As a flavored lubricant, it should appeal to those who aren't completely gung ho about performing oral sex or to those who want to add something to their usual oral play. As for intercourse, Wet naturals is water-based. Normally I wouldn't judge a book by its cover, but in this case, water-based means runny. It also means that it will be absorbed more quickly anally and vaginally and will need to be reapplied often. Basically, it's too thin for anal sex, and it's kind of sloppy for sex in general. If I put a dot on my hand, it runs all over instantly. It also has a sugar-substitute (aspartame), which has been shown to cause vaginal irritation in some women. I personally haven't had any reactions (knock on wood), but it is something to keep in mind for yourself and your partner. Finally, this lubricant is latex-compatible.
This is the thinnest lubricant that I have tried so far, and if you look into my review list, you'll see several. I would like for it to be thicker. It is extremely smooth, and it isn't sticky. I put some on my hand, wiped it off with a towel, and there wasn't any residue left...my hand just smelled like strawberry. The Wet naturals sensual strawberry lubricant is also clear, which I like. To go along with that, it doesn't stain. The flip-top lid as well as the thin consistency might make pouring a little too easy. I doubt you'll need to flip it on its new flat top in order to get the last bit out. As stated before, this lubricant does not stay in place well as it tends to run all over. I can see this being a mess if you are trying to keep it in an isolated location.
Let me say that this is one of the best smelling lubricants that I have come into contact with. I tend to be sensitive to smells and even get headaches with some of the more intense products, but this scent was light and didn't linger for too long. The taste is decent. There is a slightly odd aftertaste, but I think this is true of most products with aspartame in them. Perhaps I just don't do well with sugar substitutes. I don't think the taste is of "natural" strawberries...more like dum dum sucker strawberry flavoring. That's actually what the smell reminds me of.
The Wet naturals sensual strawberry lubricant doesn't seem to be long-lasting, despite the labeling on this bottle. I would say it lasts 20 minutes maximum if used during vaginal sex. Then, it just kind of absorbs. It doesn't get sticky, tacky, or greasy...you just need to reapply too often for my liking. I haven't had to wash this product off, as it doesn't really leave anything behind except for a light scent. I would say warm water would be enough though since it is so thin and water-based. If this lubricant were thicker, it would probably go up a star in rating.
The packaging has been redesigned a bit, and for this reason, I think a picture of the bottle is necessary.
I'm not sure what all has been changed with the packaging and whether much has changed with the product itself. However, the bottle has a flat top, a grip indent on the side, and lists things such as "hypoallergenic" and "PH balanced." There are 3 different languages on the packaging. Directions, warnings, and ingredients are listed. The ingredients list is FOREVER long for a "natural" product. I can't even begin to explain what each ingredient does, and I would strongly suggest that if you have any known allergens, you contact the company or go directly to their website for a full list. On another topic, I would not take this product with you to travel unless it is sealed in a baggie. I do not trust this top not to leak with the lubricant being so thin. Finally, the bottle is also not discreet, so you may want to store it away.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it2 months after original review
The Wet naturals sensual strawberry lubricant is just not useful to me. I have a lemon meringue flavored cream/lubricant and a sugar cookie flavored cream, and these two items will always beat out the Wet naturals for use. I honestly will die the day that a natural lubricant actually contains few ingredients and nothing to irritate anyone's lady bits. For instance, the sugar substitute in this item still concerns me...I am not personally sensitive to it. However, other women may develop a yeast infection from it.
