The Gina Orgasm Deluxe is almost the perfect toy. Its functions and settings are just fantastic. It seems no matter how I push the buttons I always end up satisfied by the deep throbbing g-spot vibrations. The waterproof construction and bendable shaft add so much versatility to the fun and really help you get more bang for your buck. There were a few aspects of the design I found a bit tricky or difficult to use. But with a little innovation, as you'll read in the review, I was able to make the Gina Orgasm Deluxe work for me, and take the new number one position in my collection.

The insertable portion of the Gina Orgasm Deluxe is made of TPR. It has a smooth surface, void of any bumps, veins, ripples or ridges. This allows it to glide into the body with incredible ease. Unfortunately, lube tends to run right off the smooth surface and onto the sheets. But because the Gina Orgasm Deluxe is so smooth, my need for additional lubricant was almost non-existent. It can be a pretty bad lint magnet, so if you can stand the wait, a quick 20 second pre-use wash is ideal just to knock any dust bunnies. The base/handle portion of the toy is a hard smooth plastic cylinder. Because of all these slick surfaces, the Gina Orgasm Deluxe can be almost impossible to get a good grip on. It gets even worse when the juices are flowing or in the shower. Since these would be the last moments I'd want to lose my grip/rhythm, I got creative. Now, before I take the Gina Orgasm Deluxe into the shower or get ready for a particularly long fun night with the man, I wrap a simple rubberband around the handle a few times. It never gets close enough to touch my lady parts and I simply take it off and toss it before cleaning up afterward. (I might be trying this with a few other toys soon.)

The Gina Orgasm Deluxe is designed to be a g-spot vibe. It has a bulbous head with a bulge on one side of the very top. On the opposite side and slightly lower, are two bulges aligned vertically. This allows the user to either apply direct pressure to the g-spot with the angled tip or let it nestle between the two opposites nubs. The Gina Orgasm Deluxe narrows significantly in the middle. Once inserted into the vagina, it just has a way of resting comfortably half way in. I found that because of this combination of bumps and diameters, this toy seemed to not work as effectively for deeper thrusting. I would describe the ideal motion to be stirring soup as opposed to mashing potatoes.

One of the biggest selling points of the Gina Orgasm Deluxe is by far the bendable shaft! It was so much fun! At the base of the toy is a battery pack. Toward the head is the actual motor itself, directing vibrations right to the sweet spot. Between the two ends is about 2-3 inches of clear TPR with a bendy core. It bends, folds and curves in any direction. I was able to achieve an angle slightly less than 90 degrees. This is great for women with abnormally shaped or angled anatomies, women who may not know what they're looking for so far as shapes and angles are concerned, or for ladies who just want to feel something different every time. The flexing aspect makes the Gina Orgasm Deluxe incredibly adaptable. Unfortunately though, the bendable portion of the shaft isn't nearly sturdy as I would have liked. I was expecting it to click like a bendy straw, but really it bent like wire. Yes, I was able to achieve a more dramatic arc to my toy. But after inserting and thrusting around a bit, my muscles straightened it out. I suppose this also supports my earlier claim that the Gina Orgasm Deluxe is not really an in-and-out type vibrator.

The Gina Orgasm Deluxe has 10 different functions and runs on 3-AAA batteries. They vary in rhythm and intensity, with a 1 or 2 just being stronger versions of another setting. The whole unit is controlled by two semicircular buttons on the bottom of the base. One is the off button and is illustrated with a circle with a line through it. The other button advances to the next setting and has two triangles on it. Both buttons give an audible click when pushed and will turn the toy on. The off button turns it on to the last used setting, while the other one turns it on to the next function in the cycle. This seems simple enough, but I had some trouble discerning the buttons from each other. They're smooth, identical, not readily visible, and in the throes of passion I found myself accidentally turning the vibe off right on the verge of climax when I really wanted to change vibration patterns. So I got creative again. I took a little rhinestone from an old craft project (I suppose a seed bead would work too), and with the tiniest dab of gorilla glue, stuck it too one of the buttons. Even though I can't see everything I'm doing with the Gina orgasm Deluxe, I now know that the flat button is on/off and the bumpy one brings up the next pattern.

Because the Gina Orgasm Deluxe is made of TPR, it requires very little in way of maintenance. Just a quick sink wash with soap and warm water and it's ready to go. The water proof o-ring creates a snug seal that make this process even easier. This can't be boiled sterile and should therefore be covered when shared. The TPR surface works well with both water based and silicone lubes and doesn't necessitate any special storage/handling.
