My new 'dildo'

As a kegel exerciser, what this is sold as? This fails horribly. As a double ended dildo? This holds it's own in my ever-fluctuating toy box. While it's flexable and light weight, this works well for thrusting and gentle g-spot stimulation, but if you're seeking something firm and pinpoint I would look elsewhere.

Use

This product is sold as a vaginal exerciser, but because of my (and it seems everyone else's experiences) I prefer to think of it as a pretty, purple dildo. As far as a vaginal exerciser goes, this is both too lightweight and too slippery for it to work at all for me.

Used vaginally, this toy is great for thrusting. It's fairly soft, so it can't put very much pressure on the g-spot, but this also means that it's very difficult to bruise yourself internally with it. It's waterproof and easy to hold as well, making this great for shower play.

If you're experienced and careful, this CAN be used for anal play due to the large ball on the end of it. When using this anally I would recommend keeping a good grip on it for safe measures and not using it as a 'plug.'

This would be great dildo for couple use because of how easy it is to use. If your partner gets a bit overzealous or anything, this won't leave you bruised and sore like some firmer materials will. It's also fairly 'average' sized and is a nice design, so this shouldn't leave anyone feeling overwhelmed.

As far as beginners go, this would be a fun way to start exploring your body if you don't want something very firm. I would highly recommend it to those who aren't quite as certain as some of the more advanced users how to use toys.

This toy certainly passes Ryu's dorm seal of approval. Being completely silent, waterproof, and silicone it's a great toy to use if want something quiet and convenient.

Material / Texture

This toy is made entirely of silicone, which is rated a 10 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale. Silicone is completely nonporous, which means that there is no way for bacteria to move past the surface of it this toy. silicone, along with other cleaning methods, can be boiled or wiped down with a 10% bleach solution to disinfect it. I recommend doing this when switching orifices or users. It's also a bit of a lint magnet.

The silicone itself is very soft and flexible. The shaft is very easy to bend and, when inserted, contours a bit to your natural shape. This flexibility of the shaft means that it's difficult to put any pressure on your g- (or p-) spot, but it also means that it's very easy to use.

Being made of silicone, a bit of drag is natural. While I didn't find that I needed to use any lube in the shower, out side of the shower you may want to use a bit unless you're already very aroused. A little bit of lube goes a long way with this toy.

I feel like beginners and advanced users would be able to appreciate the safety and ease of cleaning that silicone has to offer, but that the flexibility is more for those that know that they like it or for beginners that don't know their own body very well.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is artistic and easy on the eyes, one of the reasons I'd been considering it for so long. It doesn't look phallic or intimidating, and the shape has a very nice curve to it. If you look closely there are some artistic lines along the shaft of this toy that end near the tip, but I found that these are mainly for aesthetic purposes and, unless you're very sensitive, can't be felt while in use.

One side of this toy has a rounded ball that is 4.5 inches around, but the rest of the toy is about 3 inches around. The entire thing is about 7 inches ling, with 5 of those being insertable. Size queens and people who want more of a 'stretched' feeling may be disappointed, but this is a good girth for those that don't need a lot of length or girth.

The smaller end is a bit more curved and pointy, and I find that it is the most comfortable to thrust with. the end with the ball IS insertable, but I find it a bit too filling and uncomfortable to thrust with. The thick end does put more g-spot pressure, but it also puts a lot more pressure on every other area inside of me as well.

This toy would be fine for travel and you could always claim that it was a medical device, but if you leave it out on the desk it may raise questions. I would keep this out of view of prying eyes, especially those you don't want to have a conversation involving sex toys with.

The design, especially the thinner side, would be great for those just starting to use sex toys. If you LIKE things shaped like the opposite end of this, this would be good, but I feel like that's a bit more specialized.

Performance

While this toy is a terrible exerciser, it performs fairly well as a dildo. The toy itself has no real weight to it, so keeping it inserted while standing doesn't put any real strain on your muscles, and when laying down it's hard to clench your muscles on to without it wanting to slip out because of the tapered shape (sort of like trying to grab on to a bar of soap that's wet.)

When used for more interesting things, this is a pretty good dildo. It has no flat base, no suction cup, and won't fit into any harnesses I've seen, so the only way to use this is manually by holding it. I found that thrusting was easy with this toy and that it was easy to put light pressure on my g-spot.

Performance wise, this would be a good first dildo but a bad exerciser. The soft tip and manual use would make it good for beginners and nice for exploring your own body, but advanced users may want something heavier for exercise and firmer for pleasure.

Care and Maintenance

This dildo is made of silicone, so it can be cleaned normally with an antibacterial toy cleaner, soap and water, or can be wiped down with toy cleaning wipes. Because of the material you can also boil it for several minutes or wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution to completely disinfect it, something that I would recommend doing if you plan on switching users or orifices. Because this toy is a bit of a lint magnet, I recommend washing this toy both before and after every use.

You shouldn't store silicone in contact with other silicone because the two toys can potentially react with eachother and leave you a very sad, unsatisfied person. For similar reasons, you should not use this with silicone based lubricant. I keep this in a cool, dark place with the rest of my toys.

Packaging

This toy comes in a fairly flimsy plastic box that is fairly obvious about what its intended use is. The front is transparent and you can see the toy through it, and it also says the name of the toy on the front. The back is a description that tries to sound like it was written by a physician, but fails sue to the syntax and grammar.

What really irks me about this toy is that it comes with no instructions. Okay, so it strengthens my muscles; how?! Both beginners and seasoned kegel exercisers won't have much of an idea (if any at all) about how this is supposed to be used for that purpose. It's to the point where I sort of feel like smacking the manufacturers upside the head.

Personal comments

While this is not very effective at strengthening your pelvic floor muscles, Eden does offer a wide veriety of other things to help aide in 'doing your kegels.'

"Why do my kegels," you ask? Because it's essentially an awesome, easy, and if you consider some of the 'kegelcisor's that Eden offers pleasurable exercise for your vaginal muscles. In women, kegels can improve incontinence issues, can help recover from or prepare for childbirth, or, what we all want to hear, improve both the strength and duration of your orgasms. Why not do your kegels?

Experience

Because of the prior comments and reviews, I didn't have the highest hopes for this dildo. Upon taking it out of the box and playing with it I began to understand why; what was this wimpy, flexable dildo going to do for either my kegels OR my g-spot? Luckily I have a g-spot that REALLY likes subtle, soft stimulation and this is WONDERFUL! I personally find the Ella too firm for me (the opposite complaint most have) so keep that in mind reading my testimonial.

While I WANT to give this toy 4 stars (1 off for not being a good kegel work out) I feel like it would be misleading to most women. Because I feel most girls won't be able to get the g-spot pressure and stimulation they need from this I am bumping it down to a 3-star rating.

I was just wondering, have you performed a flame test on this to see if it is real silicone? I think I would like this but I won't use it if it's not all silicone.
