The Mood Seductive by Doc Johnson is best use by ladies for vaginal and clitoral stimulation. It could be used anally with caution but it is not recommended because there is no flared base and the groove running around the shaft of the toy could collect fluids and make cleaning difficult.

This vibrator is also shaped to stimulate the g-spot but the tip of the toy is small and flexible so it may not work for too many people. Needless to say, if that is something you are looking for, you may want to look elsewhere. In the same vein, size queens will not find this toy very satisfying and may want to search for something more filling.

This is, however, a great toy for beginners since it is easy to use, has a smaller diameter and is not totally rigid in design. Also, if the clitoral arm does not quite line up with your anatomy, it is flexible enough to be pushed against or held in place on your clitoris.



The Mood Seductive is waterproof, for about a minute or so when fully submerged and then little water droplets are visible in the battery compartment. Perhaps adding a rubber ring around the battery compartment instead of a silvery plastic one would do better at keeping water out. The bottom line is this vibrator is splashproof and great for shower play, but it is not suggested to fully submerge it, so bath play is out.

You can use this toy for solo sessions, in the shower, with a partner as foreplay before getting to sex or as a mutual masturbation tool.

The purple section of this toy is made from silicone which has a safety rating of 10/10 on Eden's safety scale. The soft, velvety silicone is non-porous, repels dirt and bacteria and retains heat very well. It is also hypo-allergenic, latex- and phthalate-free and food-grade material.

The white battery compartment/handle section of this vibrator is made from plastic which has a safety rating of 8/10 on Eden's safety scale, is non-porous, phthalate-free and is rigid but smooth material.

Silicone tends to grab on skin so you will most likely need to use some kind of lubricant with this toy. Water-based lubes are safe to use with this vibrator as silicone lubricants are known to bond to silicone toys and degrade the material. To test the purity of your silicone you could do a small patch test with the silicone lubricant on a part of the toy that does not get inserted and see what happens.

There were no odors to this vibrator beyond a slight plastic smell but it dissipated after airing the toy out for a while.

This rabbit style vibrator is very simplistic in design which will appeal to many, especially beginners. The 9" long, 1" diameter shaft, 5" of which is insertable is smooth all over save for the wavy groove that flows down over each side and continues up the clitoral arm where it meets in a curve.

The clitoral arm is just over 2 1/4" long and does not feature any kind of face or animal shape. It does, however, feature a single tip (instead of the ever popular double "bunny ears" style) that is great for very pinpointed stimulation. It really does not do much in the way of broader stimulation so pass this up if your clitoris cannot handle pinpointed stimulation.

This vibrator has a 2 1/2" long white plastic handle with a silver ring around the opening that houses the battery compartment. It also has a control pad with two squishy buttons that are purple and have white symbols for "power" and "vibrations".

There are no visible seams and this is not a very discreet toy so be sure to store it away from prying eyes.

One of the buttons on the control pad is a dedicated on/off switch and the other will cycle through the vibration intensity and patterns. These buttons are very easy to push so you will want to remove the batteries before traveling with it to prevent your luggage from buzzing.

This vibrator runs off two AA batteries and is surprisingly powerful. On the other hand the power of this does make it quite noisy on the highest settings. It may be heard through a door but will definitely be heard through blankets so dorm use is up to your discretion. Perhaps the noise can be covered up with music while using it in the shower or something similar.

There are two separate motors; one in the end of the shaft and one in the clitoral arm. The vibrations can be easily felt in the "head" and on the underside of the clitoral attachment. The vibrations in the clitoral arm do conduct well to the smaller tip and cause it to wiggle intensely. Although there are separate motors in this toy, they can only be controlled by the same two buttons. There's no mix/match feature because of this and it is a little disappointing but not a total loss.

Cleaning the Mood Seductive is easy since it is splashproof, just wash with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner, paying close attention to the groove. Using a soft bristled toothbrush dedicated to cleaning your toys would do wonders on keeping the groove clean.

It is not suggested that you boil or toss this toy in the dishwasher but you can sterilize it by using a 10% bleach solution on it but be sure you rinse it thoroughly so you don't introduce the bleach to sensitive body areas.

There was no storage pouch included with this toy but you can store it with other toys as long as it is covered somehow. You will want to bag it or otherwise cover it anyway just to keep lint, hair and dust off the silicone; it tends to be a lint magnet.

The Mood Seductive came in a matte black box with a shiny black swirl pattern on it and colored dots across the top half of the front. The front also features a viewing window where the toy is very clearly visible making this package not very discreet at all. It should be wrapped if gifting and recycled when empty. On that note, it is not bad for short term storage but eventually using that much space will get to be a bother so invest in some other kind of storage for this toy.

The back of the packaging is very informative using a colored-dots chart to tell you about the features, material, batteries, cleaning, lubricant and how many functions it has. The box also contains an instruction manual, but it was not really necessary for this simplistic toy.

I'm not really a huge fan of rabbit style vibrators but this one just seemed to line up perfectly and hit all the right spots. Also, I was lucky enough to win this during one of the giveaways Eden was having so I really can't complain too much.

After opening the package I decided to try it out in the shower first thing. Just a little bit of water based lubricant before turning on the water was enough to get it comfortably started and I have to say I quite enjoyed myself. I've never had a rabbit vibrator actually get me off in the shower before so it was something new for me. I'm very happy with how powerful this toy is and while it could use a couple adjustments to improve the quality, I don't mind using it. This definitely has a permanent position in my toy box.
