I wanted these clamps because I had heard that "clover" style clamps are among the most painful of clamps out there, and, being a masochist I was looking forward to these immensely. What I actually found, was that these clamps were more of a "moderate" bite, and were not quite what I was expecting.

The clamps were still fun, and I would not recommend them for a beginner. On a scale of 1-10, I personally found these to be about a 5 for pain. I think that if you have a moderate level of tit torture or nipple play under your belt, you may be able to take these. As an advanced player I felt like they are a bit too light for me.

The Fresh jaws Nipple Clamps are perfect for the labia as well. I adored having the chain dangle between my legs during play, or even doing chores around the house.

The Fresh Jaws Nipple Clamps are made of metal. There is no odor or taste to the toy. The "clamp" section of the toy has a bit of black rubber to prevent the clamps themselves from slipping. This is a great addition, because no matter how hard you pull on these, they will NOT let go until you release them. The rubber itself has little "nibs" to help prevent these from slipping.

The clamps themselves measure 3.5" long, and 1.5" wide. The chain they are attached to is about a foot long. My nipples JUST fit into these clamps. The clamps themselves do not open more than a half inch, so if you have larger nipples, beware.

One thing which is disappointing is the blue finish. I have only had these clamps for about a week, and the finish is already starting to chip. To their credit: in the time I have had them, they have gotten a lot of use, but I still did not expect the paint to chip this quickly.

These clamps feel great, to me. The only thing which is a bit bothersome is the fact that the clamps themselves are a bit too small. I wish that these clamps opened up a bit more to make it easier to fit nipples inside. I had no issue with putting these clamps on my labia. It felt great and they do NOT come off!

In order to put these on or take them off, all you need to do is squeeze the clamps at their widest point, easy!

The Fresh Nipple Clamps are packaged in a brightly colored clamshell case. Easy enough to get out. I would not recommend storing these in their case though, because I do not think the case is sturdy enough to last forever. The box is recyclable though, which is always wonderful. They also fit much smaller in a drawer or other bin outside of their case.

There were no instructions on how to use these in the box.

I was really looking for a "bite" with these nipple clamps and was disappointed. Some people may find the bite of these to be too much, but personally, I just found it to be moderate. If you are an extreme masochist, these are probably not your nipple clamps.
