Mimi fits in the palm of your hand nicely. It is designed to stimulate the outside of the genitals and isn't shaped well to be inserted anywhere. I recommend keeping it to external use only for safety reasons. Finding the comfortable way to hold it for each person is one task. We found it easier to hold with 4 fingers on one side and the thumb on the other, a bit like a writing position. It is easier to use the smaller, rounded end this way for pinpoint stimulation and access to the buttons to switch things up.

MiMi now features three buttons. A - to decrease speed or turn it off, + to increase speed or to turn it on and a ~ to switch between patterns. The buttons can be a pain to press for women that have long fingernails. I didn't have a problem pressing them, but my fiance did. She found the - and + to be easier to press than the ~ button, which is in the middle. It's easier to use the tip of your finger pad to press the buttons. She keeps a pen on the night stand and uses the flat end to push the pattern button because it is easier for her that way.

To turn on, hold down the + for about 3 seconds; to turn off, hold down on the - for about three seconds.
Mimi has 5 different vibration speeds varying from a low rumble to a fast pace, intense rumble. When on the 5th setting, this is pretty wild and can get away from you if you apply too much lubricant that it slips out of your grasp. Mimi is rechargeable by a magnetic charging port that connects to the bottom of Mimi to the + and - buttons. It needs about 2 hours to charge fully from the start. A light will flash at the base of the toy; when fully charged, the light will just remain on (no more flashing). You should get about 2 hours of play time according to the instruction manual, though we haven't ran our's dead yet so I can't confirm that.

Mimi is made of 100% body safe silicone and is 100% waterproof, so you can take it into the bathroom with you. Mimi is also hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalates free. Mimi is soft and smooth to the touch and glides nicely with lubricant, but has a little bit of drag to it.

Because this is made of silicone, you should only use water-based lubricants with it. You can use warm water and a mild soap, toy cleaner or wipes to clean it. Store it in a place where it will be protected from hairs, lint and other particles.

Mimi comes with a 1 year warranty, as well as an instruction book packed nicely in the box with Mimi at its side. I suggest you look over the instructions as there is a long list of "Do Nots". The box is good for storage but a bag would have been nice. The packaging is nice but not 100% discreet as it says "Vibrate more" on one side in black bold letters.
