I love this product and would suggest it to anyone looking into vaginal exercisers. It does it's job well, and honestly there's not a thing I can think of that is wrong with it It's discreet, well made, and great for anyone looking to strength their PC muscles.

What's This?
This cute little thing is a vaginal exerciser, called Emigi by SinFive. It's 6.5" long, only 2.5" insertable, with a 1" diameter at it's biggest point and 0.5" at it's smallest. The cord is a little over 4" long, and is very durable. It has been described by other reviewers to look like a mouse and a peanut with a tail. It has two "balls" or "bulged" ends, one (the colored one) attached to the retrieval cord, both ends or bulges have seams running around their circumference. The seam cannot be felt when inserted and can barely be felt with the fingers. These two bulges are connected in the middle where it looks like it can be pulled apart, but it has not come apart on me and I have not tried to pull it apart. The retrieval cord it very stretchy and can stretch up to 6.75'. It has not come out or shown any wear and tear since I have had it (May 9th, 2012). There's a hole where the cord connects to the Emigi where dirt or bacteria could hide, but due to the material this is made out of that shouldn't be a problem. The whole thing, cord and all, is made out of anti-bacterial property, hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalates free, non-porous material called WTP, or microbial elastomer. WTP is a type of TPR, it is hard with a little give, and have a "velvety" surface, which results in some drag, but that can be solved with a little lube. WTP rates 8 out of 10 on the EF safety scale. It has no smell, and doesn't even retain the smell of my soap.
Speaking of soap... How Do I Care For & Clean the Emigi?
The Emigi cannot be sterilized because of the material it is made out of, but it is non porous and has anti-bacterial properties. Despite being no porous, it's still recommended that you don't share this exerciser. Because it is anti-bacterial and antimicrobial it basically cleans it's self, as stated in the video on the product page, but you should still clean it. To clean it you simply wash it with soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner, you should wash it before and after each use. For storage, I keep mine in the little plastic, purse shaped container it came it. The container is sort of shaped like a hard plastic, triangular purse. It's a little wider than the Emigi, but not much taller, so the Emigi fits snugly inside. It comes with a slip of paper that has instructions in 3 or 4 different languages. I say 3 or 4 because as I was trying to take mine out to read it, it broke in two, and now I can't find the other half to count all the languages or read the other half of the English instructions.
Alright, So Why Would I Use It & How?
The Emigi, or any vaginal exerciser, is used to strengthen the pelvic floor, or PC muscles. Having stronger PC muscles can assist in child birth, help to control those embarrassing leaks, and improve your sex life. With stronger PC muscles comes stronger orgasms and the ability to grip your partner tighter, thus enhancing your sex life. The advantages listed can also be achieved by doing kegel exercises without the Emigi, but the Emigi helps you to exercise without realizing it, helps to single out those muscles, and gives you something to push against.
To insert the Emigi you are going to need a little lube, you can use a water or silicone based lube. You put a little dab of lube onto the top of the Emigi and slowly insert it into the vaginal opening like you would a tampon, be sure to be relaxed when you do this. When inserted properly you will have a string hanging from the opening of your vagina, and the Emigi should be snug in place with no pain. Because of the Emigi's shape you won't have to worry about it falling out, but the feeling that it is is what helps you exercise. The Emigi weighs 3.4 ounces and the smallness of it made it great for a beginner exerciser for me. When buying a vaginal exerciser be sure to have a good idea of the dimensions. It's advised that you wear the Emigi for two hours at a time, but I have found no ill effects from wearing it for longer periods of time.

Cont... Is There Anything Else I should Know?
The packaging clearly states the purpose of this product, but makes great for storage and traveling. Since the packaging is so small it is very easy to throw this product into a bag and go, just be sure to take some lube with you, too. I don't know that I would give this as a gift, but the packaging is nice enough that it would make a nice gift. The weight inside does move around, and can be heard when shaken outside of the body, but when inserted it's silent, and has a nice feel to it when it does roll around. Also, the retrieval cord is very sturdy, there's a lot of stretch to it, but it doesn't feel like it's going to break when trying to pull out the Emigi. Despite the great retrieval cord this should not be inserted anally. It's a wonderfully well made product. And it has four different color options: fushia/white, purple/white, red/white, and pink/white! I have the pink and white.

I love, love, love my Emigi. It's my first vaginal exerciser and I look forward to getting more when this one no longer does it for me. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to getting into the world of vaginal exercising. It did cause me a little discomfort when taking it out the first time, but I think that was more due to me being scared it was going to hurt then the actual product. I've read about some women who use this to do a kind of vaginal tug of war, but as a new mother I haven't had time to try this yet, but I look forward to letting you guys know more ways to use the Emigi in my follow up review!

Follow-up commentary
22 months after original review
I am still in love with my little mighty mouse! I haven't touched it in a while, but used it again today in order to do my follow up. I found that I really need to use it more often as I had a hard time keeping it in at first, but as the day wore on, I found that I could move it up and down at will. Really cool! I'm considering getting a few more vaginal exercisers of varying weights. This is still a great tool for newbs and experts alike. I am in love with my Emigi.
