Maybe too tender...
For ten dollars, it is not the worst toy to have. However, for only a few more dollars, there are a LOT of vibes that are infinitely better than the Cactus. Overall, it was a real disappointment.

Pros
Cheap vibe with a good texture.
Cons
Vibes nearly non-existent, floppy middle, smell.
Well, to be quite honest, the Tender Cactus... bored me.
For starters, it is a jelly toy, which has pros and cons. Obviously, the overpowering smell of the jelly can be a bit to handle at first, even for a while. My best advice would be to wash it a couple of times with soap and water right from the get go.
There are good things about the Tender Cactus vibe. For one, it is waterproof and compatible with a good silicone based lubricant. I got Pjur woman, which is a little pricey for such a small amount, but totally worth it and wonderful for the Tender Cactus in and out of water.
As far as the vibrations go, they are really nothing spectacular, in fact, I'd say "lackluster" is more suiting. The Tender Cactus boasts a three-speed setting option, but all three speeds seem almost exactly the same. Turn knob, set to boring.
This is a shame, because another wonderful feature on the Tender Cactus is the texture. The head feels very nice going in and the bumps make the sensations of the granted weak vibrations more pleasurable. The shaft is a decent width and the spiral ribbing gives the Tender Cactus a little bit of flair where it could have been more bland than it already is.
My biggest problem with the Tender Cactus is that the vibrator in the head is separate from the one that, they claim, is seated in the shaft to focus vibrations at the vaginal opening, so there are like two parts to this vibe with no real structure in the middle of the two. It's like, in goes the head, and then just two flaps of jelly with no substance, which makes it hard to get to the rest of the vibe in the shaft. I found it to be irritating.
All in all, for ten dollars, it's an alright vibe. It was nowhere NEAR the level of the Heart Racer, which I bought at the same time. I would say splurge and spend the $4 more to get an amazing clitoral vibe rather than this bland, floppy one.

Thank you for viewing Tender cactus – vibrator review page!
A little, but surprisingly, the nubs are kind of the easy part. It's slicker at the top, not so velvety, but since it's made of jelly, practically ANYTHING will stick to it, lint from covers being the most obvious.
It is waterproof, so you can kind of get the dust and such off if you clean it with soap and water, though. I'd recommend storing it in a case when you're not using it. I have the For Your Nymphomation case, which is a great one and happens to be on sale right now if you're in the market.
