Use: The Panty Pal is a discreet vibrator designed to be kept in place by a decorative magnet. The vibrator goes inside your underwear and the plastic butterfly, heart, or star is placed outside your underwear where the magnet is supposed to keep it in place. The panty pal is not designed for internal use. The vibrator could be used independently on any erogenous zones. The other side could be used as a decoration if you wanted. It can be used for foreplay, solo play, and teasing.
Size/Texture: The Panty Pal is small with the vibrating portion 2 inches long. It truly resembles a large pill. The vibe is encased in plastic and the plastic is covered with jelly (like a Wii remote cover).
The side placed toward the body is smooth with a little drag to it. The other side has 2 circular magnets that work through your underwear to connect with the plastic portion. The plastic portion is cute and colorful. The butterfly has little raised designs on its wings and even has flexible antennae. There is a slight odor to this toy, but negligible. The jelly covering does not have a residue that some other jelly toys get.
The size of the Panty Pal is the only discreet thing about it. If you wear jeans over your underwear, the Panty Pal is not visible. If you want to carry between places, I recommend removing the batteries since the button is easy to jostle on. It can easily fit in a makeup bag. However, it is loud enough to be heard beyond your clothes. If you were looking for public fun, this will not work for you.
Controls: The Panty Pal has a simple ON/OFF button. This means there is only one (weak) vibration setting. Also, the button is toward the part closest to your body. If you want to shut off your Panty Pal, you will have to reach into your knickers to do so. This might become inconvenient for some. This toy tends to randomly turn off and on when the button is pushed on. It might be possible mine was defective, but it appears this toy is dainty and jostling it can shut it stop it randomly.
Care and Maintenance: Because the Panty Pal is made for external use, cleaning is simple. The toy is not waterproof or even marked as splash proof, so be careful when washing. That is why it may be best to use toy wipes for this toy. You could add silicone or water based lub on the outside of the vibrator if you wanted before placement. The decorative half can withstand submersion since it does not have any electrical components. This toy takes watch batteries, which are not very eco friendly. It also seems to guzzle battery power.
I advise everyone to stay away from the Panty Pal regardless. If a beginner used this they might be turned off of sex toys. An advanced player will feel like they wasted their money. There are more negative qualities than redeeming ones. It is loud, at about 2-3 bees. The magnet can be finicky. It can be frustrating trying to place the vibe and magnet in a way that is doesn't come apart. And if it does stay together, it will not give strong, directed, or overall good vibration. The Panty Pal is incredibly weak. This will be the first toy I can and will assigne one Vroom. There are better fish in the sex toy sea.

Experience
I hope I was somewhat unbiased, because this toy SUCKS! I despise it. It is a waste. There's not much more I can say.
Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I threw out the bullet part of this toy, but I kept the butterfly. You can't tell it was a sex toy just by looking at it. It's hanging in my room near some of my plants. I find it a nice touch. I have gotten more enjoyment with the pnaty pal as a wall decoration instead of a vibrator.
Better luck next time, I guess.
