Luscious Lace
A very pretty piece of lingerie, it suits all body types and can withstand a beating. However, it did suffer some loose stitching after repeated use. Regardless, I would hem it until it fell apart and wear it many times.

Pros
Stretchy, pretty color, very flattering to all body types
Cons
may need hemming after a while.
I picked out this chemise for review because I figure I could give it an interesting spin. I am an exotic dancer. When I saw this my first thought was that it would make for an excellent outfit at work. I requested it and took it to work with me the first night I got it.
My initial thoughts on the piece when I opened it was what a lovely color it was. It's a very vibrant shade of teal, my favorite color. The hems are stitched well and the entire thing is stretchy and forgiving, which is a plus. It comes with two shoulder straps that are removable. All in all, well designed. I put it on and went to work.
This chemist can take a beating. It held up nicely, enduring several days of repeatedly taking it off and putting it back on. It didn't rip and stretched with my body nicely as I danced. It doesn't show dirt or hold on to smoke smells. I received many, many compliments on it from both men and women, and the women asked where I got it and for how much. It's very flattering and I recommended it to the women who asked.
Now for the downside, though I only have one point in this area. I noticed that some of the stitching that held the lace border on up top had started to come undone. It could be easily remedied by a couple stitches with a thread of similar color, but this happened after only three nights of wear. Admittedly, I had put the chemise through it's paces having taken it off and putting it back on multiple times a night, sometimes in a hurry, but I was sad to see it happen.
Regardless of the loose stitches at the top, I would gladly hem it back together and wear it again, and again, and again. The color is gorgeous and I definitely appreciate the stretchiness of the material. It's a beautiful piece of lingerie and I look forward to using it in the bedroom as well!

Follow-up commentary
6 months after original review
Following up on the blue lace courtesan chemise, several months on, it's still going strong. I did notice the lace border up top started to come apart at the end seam, but I stitched it right back up, and it's fine now. The elastic in the lace does snap and fray a little after repeated use. It has not torn or fallen apart, even after the rigorous uses it has endured at my workplace as a dancer. I've gotten many, many complements on the fit and the color of it. I still recommend it to anyone who wants a sexy lacy get-up, for dancers and civilians alike!
