Arrival
As per usual, this order from Eden Fantasy's showed up in a nondescript brown cardboard box, but once it was opened up, I was greeted by some bright pink tissue paper. Beyond that, this lingerie had no other wrapping; and other than a single, easily removed tag, this beauty is ready to wear straight from the box. I was very pleasantly surprised at how soft and pleasant to the touch the lace part of the baby doll is. Typically, I imagine lace as a bit stiff and scratchy. The pinstripe fabric is a bit firm/inflexible, but is still perfectly comfortable to wear against bare skin. I imagine it will soften up some after being washed, too. Remember, you don't want it snagging or tangled up with other clothing, so make sure to use the delicate cycle and a lingerie bag, or to hand wash it. The matching panties are very cute and I imagine I'll be wearing them under jeans, not just with the top.

The Fit
I had made sure I looked up Coquette's size chart when this was ordered. Large is supposed to fit a 38-40" bust, which should be perfect since I wear a 38-40" D cup bra. Except it isn't. I had to struggle to get the hook and eye closure clasped. I would say the large size fits a 36-38" bust. The straps are immensely long and the hard plastic bits used to adjust it were rough around the edges and actually scratched my skin. I'm hoping this was just a haphazard mistake, because otherwise the craftsmanship seems to be quality. There aren't any spare dangling threads, and the seams appear to be solid. The bust fit me quite well, once I got the straps adjusted properly. I don't think it would fit curves properly if you wear smaller than a C cup or larger than a D, however.

End Result/Opinion
I was pleased as punch when this baby doll arrived, it's super cute. The minor issue with the plastic strap adjuster I was able to fix using a nail file to round the rough edges. It covers my tummy which I'm self conscious of, the fabric is pretty, and the keyhole detail on the back is adorable. But... I find it uncomfortable to wear and awkward/unflattering due to how tight the closure is, in spite of double checking that it should fit me when I ordered it. I had read/heard such high praise of their products in the past, which does seem to be spot on for the most part. I just would suggest for this particular baby doll at least, that you ordered one size larger than you think you'll need. As much as I would like to wear the top for future encounters, I think it will likely sit in a drawer unused because of the size issue.

After my first time romping around in this baby doll I haven't touched it since. Since it doesn't fit properly I end up with no desire to wear it. I try to flatter my curvy body type and this just doesn't do it. Pity, because it's super cute
