Loud and Stubborn
Vibration-wise it's a boom, but structurally it's kind of a bust. An awkwardly rigid shape and pointy end, combined with its narrow width make it somewhat ineffectual as a g-spot vibrator despite the even distribution of vibrations. Being waterproof and efficiency with batteries are selling points, but depending on your anatomical needs I might recommend checking out a different product from the same manufacturer. They built a good product, it's just a little loud, and the wrong shape for me.
Published:
Pros
vibration strength, material, waterproof
Cons
rigidity, loudness, shape
Made of high quality plastic, this toy was too rigidly linear for me to really enjoy it for G-spot stimulation. The "probe" end was also kind of pointy, despite seemingly tapering to a gentle rounded end. It's also pretty narrow, about the width of my thumb.
But that doesn't mean I don't like it. The vibrations are strong, consistent, and even the lowest level of vibration is fairly powerful, especially for a small, battery operated toy. Along with that comes the noise. This thing is loud. If you have roommates and don't want them hearing your vibrator, this isn't the toy for you. If you have roommates and don't mind, I'd say that this is strong enough to maybe be worth disturbing your roommates.
The vibration is centered about an inch from the tip and feels pretty evenly distributed throughout the rest of its body.
The "gems" aren't faceted, and are recessed in such a way that I don't worry about them accumulating dirt and germs.
One downside of the size and material is that it gets slippery quite easily and there isn't much to hold onto. Combined with the rigidity, this meant I was accidentally losing grasp and basically stabbing myself with it awkwardly as it shifted positions.
Despite not particularly enjoying the erotic ambiance of a shower, I did bring the Crystal Chic G into a shower with me. Just a heads-up, the vibrations were still audible despite the noise of the shower. It's still in perfect working order, proving that it's waterproof as advertised. I wouldn't submerge it, as it's just an o-ring type seal, but go ahead and get it wet.
Battery-wise, it takes two AAA batteries and hasn't sucked the juice out of them yet, nor has it noticeably weakened in vibration strength despite frequent use.

Experience
I thought the switch was broken because it would always be on low when I screwed the cap back on with batteries inside. Fortunately, the failure was on my part; I had put in the batteries in upside down! (The nubby end was holding the button in one place.)

Great review. Sounds loud, but not bad for its price.
