Lighting Up The Bedroom

I received this as a free gift, and honestly? I would've regretted it if I purchased it. It's cute, and the vibrations are moderate -- it's just enough to get me off reliably. It's okay that this doesn't do it for me every time, though, because the light show is fantastic!

Use

This isn't a toy that I would ordinarily purchase; it's small, and it's vibrations are too busy for my liking. Still, as this was a free gift, I can't really complain. In fact, for a free gift, this vibrator was really impressive, and honestly? For $12.99, this would be a good buy.

This toy can be used solo or with a partner. The small size is great if you choose to use it with a partner, as a male partner is unlikely to be intimidated (or jealous) of this toy, due to its small size.

This cute little vibrator is primarily a clitoral vibrator. The tip of the vibrator is rounded, and feels nice against my clitoris. The rounded tip does make it a bit difficult to achieve pinpoint stimulation, however. While pinpoint stimulation is difficult, this still preforms well as a clitoral vibrator -- primarily due to the fact that vibrations are strongest at the head of this toy.

It could also be used to tease your sensitive bits, such as your nipples.

You could potentially use this vibrator for vaginal insertion, but for me? It was just way too small! I was unable to get pleasure from it internally, and I don't think it'll do much for anyone internally.

This toy should NOT be used anally. This toy is just way too small, and there is no base -- the potential of it getting stuck in your bum is just too high. If you want an anal toy, there are plenty available on EdenFantasys.com -- but please, don't try to use this one anally. That's just a recipe for disaster!

You're also able to use this cutie in water. I've used this in both the shower and the tub, and it does just fine in both situations.

Another way to use this toy is simply to add a little excitement to the bedroom. I know, toys are meant to add excitement anyway, right? Well, maybe so, but this one brings a light show for your entertainment. The light show looks pretty awesome in the bathtub, by the way.

This vibrator also comes with a cock ring, but in my partners opinion..the cock ring is WAY too small to be used comfortably. It looks cute on the toy, but the cock ring doesn't serve any real purpose in my opinion.

Material / Texture

Little Honey is made out food-grade plastic, which rates as an 8 on Eden Fantasy's safety scale. It is hypoallergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. This makes it a great choice for those who might have allergies, as there's nothing in the material that should trigger those allergies.

The texture on the vibrator is very smooth, and almost velvety. It's firm, with no bend, but the material almost feels soft to the touch. It feels great in my hands, and I genuinely love how it feels when I run it over my sensitive body parts. The smooth, velvety texture is great, but it's not going to be a good choice for those of you that prefer more texture.

Now.. the cock ring. I'm not completely sure what the cock ring is made out of. It feels like some sort of jelly material, but it doesn't have that jelly smell. I wish that the packaging would've stated what the cock ring is made out of, but unfortunately it did not -- such a let down! Anyway, the cock ring is stretchy, soft, and squishy. It's also a bit sticky, and it attracts lint and dirt like crazy!

To add, the cock ring I received was unbelievably fragile. My partner stretched it to see if it would stretch to fit him, and before he had stretched it much.. the material sort of tore. We ended up throwing this ring out right then and there.

As for smell and taste? I did notice a light odor coming from items. Both scents are very faint; I can't smell them unless I put my nose RIGHT up to the toys. Taste wise, the vibrator itself has no taste as far as I could detect. The cock ring, however, had a rubbery taste to it.

Design / Shape / Size

This sweet little vibrator is certainly a small toy, measuring only 4 1/2" in length. I don't feel that any of this is really meant to be insertable, but if you choose to... 3 1/2" can be inserted. The thickest part of this toy measures 3" in circumference, so this toy is very slim, as well. The small size of this toy can be a disappointment, as it certainly limits the ways in which Little Honey can be used. On the other hand, however, the small size is a great thing as it makes this toy easy to use during couples play.

Little Honey has a sort of "wavy" design to it. Starting at the battery compartment, the toy is slim. It then sort of bulges out, until it indents to another slim area. Then, at the head, it bulges out again. The shape is appealing to the eye, but it doesn't really make this toy any more enjoyable than it would be otherwise. That being said, I do appreciate that this toy has a rounded head, as the rounded head feels nice on my clitoris.

Now.. the cock ring. As I mentioned previously, the cock ring was a complete waste for me. It was cute, but it just didn't seem to serve a function. The cock ring I received was light pink, with little round nubs going around it.

Looking at both the cock ring and the vibrator, both are fairly discreet. If I didn't KNOW the cock ring was a cock ring, I wouldn't know it by looking. I would probably think it was a child's toy, in fact. Now the vibrator... The vibrator is obviously a vibrator; there's not much more it could be. It's still discreet, however, due to the small size. For this reason, I would happily travel with Little Honey.

Functions / Performance / Controls

To use Little Honey, you're going to need 3 watch batteries. I know, watch batteries? UGH! I was disappointed to see that, as I don't buy watch batteries often. Thankfully your first set of watch batteries are included with the toy. It should be noted, however, that the batteries do seem to drain quickly, so you're probably going to need to replace the batteries after just a few uses.

To insert the batteries, you simply unscrew the battery compartment. Put the batteries in, screw it back on, and you're good to go. Now, while we're talking about inserting the batteries, let me tell you a bit about removing the batteries. The first two watch batteries come out of Little Honey with ease. The third one (or the one that goes in the vibrator first), however, is very difficult to remove. I find myself having to nearly beat Little Honey in order to get that battery out. It's not a huge deal, but it is frustrating. The batteries do go in with ease, however.

Now.. you have the batteries in. To turn Little Honey on, you simply press the button on the bottom. The button is very easy to press. Once you have the toy on, you simply press the button again to cycle through the vibrations. To turn the vibrator off, you'll need to cycle through all of the vibrations. Cycling through the vibrations doesn't take long, but I really wish that there was a way to quickly turn this thing off -- after all, one never knows when they'll be interrupted.

Let's talk a little about the vibrations. There are 7 different levels:

1. The first vibration level is solid, and constant. I'd rate them at around 3 vrooms, and 2 bees, which is pretty good for such a small vibrator. The vibrations are extremely buzzy, which I don't find pleasant. The lights at this level reflect the vibrations -- the light colors flash a bit, but the vibrator is constantly lit up.

2. The second level is also solid, and constant. Level two is slightly stronger than level one, but just slightly. I'd say it's around 3.5 vrooms, and 2 bees. The lights at this level are the same as the lights at level 1.

3. Level three is a solid, constant vibration as well. At this level, the vrooms around slightly higher than level 2, but it still doesn't quite make it to 4 vrooms for me. The noise level does go up to 3 vrooms with this level. The vibrations, again, are extremely busy. With this level, the lights are constantly on, but the color changes seem to be more obvious than the previous two levels. This level has the vibrators lights flashing red, blue, purple, and green.

4. This level is a sort of escalating pattern. It starts of a bit like bzzz BZZZZ bzzz BZZZZZ... low, and then increasing. The lights reflect this pattern, being dim with the low buzzes, and bright with the high buzzes. This pattern doesn't do it for me, but the lights are fun to watch!

5. This level is slow pulsing. Bzz stop Bzz stop Bzz stop... I don't care for this pattern, but I'm not a big fan of patterns in general. The light at this level is a simple flashing red light -- nothing special about it, in my opinion.

6. This level is fast pulsing! Physically, this level doesn't bring me any pleasure, but I LOVE watching the light show with this one. The lights flash very quickly, and all colors seem to be going at once. It's great entertainment to those of us that are a bit easy to amuse.

7. I'm not really sure how to describe this pattern. I guess it feels sort of wavy? It's fairly powerful -- probably the most powerful level on this vibrator (though still not 4 vrooms), but it's not a steady vibration. It sort of goes back and forth between a high and moderate vibration, but the difference is hardly noticeable. The lights at this level simply flash slowly.

..and then if you press the button again, the vibrator turns off. When you turn the vibrator back on, you're back at the beginning.

All in all, I'm not as impressed with the vibrations as I am with the light show. The vibrations do feel nice, but they're too buzzy for my likes. I cannot bring myself to orgasm with this toy, but it feels good as teaser.

As for its waterproof capabilities? This preformed admirably in both the bathtub and the shower.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning this vibrator is a simple task. Firstly, you're going to want to ensure that the battery compartment is closed prior to washing it. This toy IS waterproof, but only if you keep water out of the battery compartment, with the cap and o-ring safely in place. I'd recommend washing this with antibacterial soap and warm water, or even a toy cleaner wipe. I tend to use Eden Fantasy's toy wipes, mainly as I have so many of them around the house; they get this toy clean just fine!

For lubricant, you can use whatever type you prefer. That's right, this toy can handle both water-based and silicone lubricants -- certainly a great thing! I didn't have a need for it with this toy, but your experience may differ.

For storing this toy, you can really place it wherever you please. I, personally, store this in a small ziplock bag, and then place it in my toybox.

Oh, and remember, remove the batteries before storing this toy! Leaving the batteries in the toy will cause the batteries to drain faster.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

This comes in a sort of clear plastic box. It's simple enough, and quite easy to open. The toy is clearly visible through the packaging, so the packaging isn't really discreet at all.
Follow-up commentary
I was never completely in love with this vibrator, and I'm still not in love with it.

It's a little too buzzy for my likes lately, but I still love the light show!

I have found that it tends to eat through batteries, though.

I appreciate the info about the stretchy ring. Not a very good addition to the package. Thanks for the great review.
