Jenna's Missing Jewels
I have a fairly sensitive clitoris, and while this vibrator will get me off on high, the orgasms are nowhere near earth-shattering. This toy would be good for beginners, sensitive clits, and those who can't handle super intense clit stimulation.

Pros
Cute, inexpensive, discreet, user friendly.
Cons
Too small for insertion, on the weak side, cheap.
I thought this little vibe and I would become better friends than we did. I adore clitoral stimulation, and that is what Jenna's Velvet Jewels is designed for; she could also be used to stimulate your nipples or perineum,of course, or any other external erogenous zones. She is nice and small...too small for any real insertion, although you can tease your labia and sort of 'test the waters' if you are new to playing with toys and haven't really dabbled in insertion. G spot play is definitely out of the question with this petite toy, and it would not be wise to use her anally...she lacks a flared base.
Jenna's Velvet Jewels is made of hard plastic and is adorned with two rows of multicolored 'jewels' around the base. Plastic is non-porous and phthalate-free and can be used with any type of lubricant. The material gives off no odor and cannot be completely sterilized, so I would still recommend a condom if you plan on sharing. This vibrator is completely smooth and the plastic is nice and velvety. There is a little bit of drag to the material, and it feels a bit like skin on skin when you move it over your body.
Jenna's Velvet Jewels is four inches long, with three and one quarter inches being insertable. As I said, she's pretty small. She's got a diameter of about an inch and weighs next to nothing. The base of the vibrator, where the little gems are, unscrews for placement of the one AA battery. There is a bulge just below the head of this vibrator, but she tapers a bit at the end. She is also tapered toward the base, which makes her easy to hold onto during play. The fact that Jenna's Velvet Jewels is so small makes her easy to tuck into a pocket or purse if you want to take her out and about. She can be stored virtually anywhere you have a tiny bit of space. You also don't have to worry about storing her around any other toys or materials...she'll get along with everybody. She is small, discreet and great for travel...I'd just remove her battery as a precaution.
This vibrator is multispeed with a dial-base. Now, multispeed is tough to describe here, as there is no speed 1, speed 2, etc. She ranges from a very low, barely there vibration to a medium high vibration. Even on the highest vibration, I would never refer to this vibrator as loud. She will definitely not be heard through a closed door. If you need to be discreet, she's a good option. She's also waterproof, but I do not submerge her. I just don't know if I trust her construction (more on that soon).
Clean up with this toy is super simple. Anti-bac soap and warm water will do the trick, as will a toy wipe or cleaner. She can be stored virtually anywhere, and with all types of other toys.

Experience
I wanted to love Jenna's Velvet Jewels. I did. She's so cute and feminine. The clam shell packaging was even kind of pretty, even with the porn star right there on the front. But as soon as I popped her out of the plastic, the trouble started. One of the pretty little jewels fell right off. Now, I realize that those little gems are purely aesthetic and have absolutely nothing to add to the function of the toy, but come on...this is an inexpensive (read: cheap) toy with moderately high (at best) vibrations...its 'pretty-ness' is one of the few points in its favor. Being the trooper that I am, I just super glued that sucker back on there. I played with her, she got me off, but she is far from spectacular. The second time I played with her, another of her jewels fell off as I pulled her out of my toy box. The jewels that remain are rather haphazardly glued in place. Jenna's Velvet Jewels just looks kind of cheap...and she kind of is. That's okay...I'm all for inexpensive toys...I just wanted her to stay cute. And without her jewels, she really isn't even that.
Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I was far from thrilled with Jenna's Velvet Jewels when I wrote the original review, and I am far from thrilled with the toy now. I did give this one another shot, the trooper that I am, and she still ceases to impress me. I'm still a bit ticked about the jewels falling out so easily. She's alright for clitoral stimulation, but I have so many toys that I enjoy more for that purpose. She has been returned to the bottom of the 'island of misfit toys' box.

Thank you for viewing Jenna's velvet jewels – vibrator review page!
Great review.
I used to have this little guy, and I think it is all around a better quality toy. It's a little more expensive, but all in all I just trust it more than I do Jenna's.
@Shellz31 - I'm so glad she worked for you! She is a pretty decent clit vibe, especially for the price, I was just kind of disappointed in her construction.
@mysecretcollection - I was comfortable getting her near water, but the seal on mine was not super tight, so I wasn't comfortable taking her under.
