The So Fresh Cool Arousal Gel is designed as a clitoral enhancement gel. The cooling sensations add an extra tingle to clit-play, and will help you reach climax in a more satisfying way.

It is designed for masturbation or foreplay, and is best kept in the bedroom (or other non-water areas). The cooling gel comes off easily in water, so shower use will not work. If using during cunnilingus, be prepared to reapply often, as licking off the gel is easier than you think.

The pump-top is a nice switch to other cooling gel products that simply come in a tube. Too many times I have squeezed too hard wasted a lot of product. With the pump, one to two pumps is all you need to get the party started.

This is a water-based product, and is both Paraben and L-Argenine free. Ingredients include: Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Alcohol Denat., Benzyl Alcohol, Carbomer, Sodium Citrate, Hydroxethylcellulose, Mentha Piperita Oil, Dehydroacetic Acid, Citric Acid, Limonene.

The gel is slightly thicker than a standard water-based lubricant, but is very smooth and velvety when applied. If you are using on a dry surface (thumb-and-forefinger test, for example) expect the viscosity to remain for about 90-120 seconds before you start feeling any tackyness.

Even when the product becomes tacky, it is not as noticeable as your run-of-the-mill lubes. Another drop (or a little saliva) will get things slick again.

The product is both odorless and tasteless, but you will feel a subtle cooling sensation on your tongue. Other cooling gels have a faint minty taste, but this does not.

The packaging says 'Peppermint Flavored,' so if your taste-buds are more sensitive than mine, you may taste something. I could not.

The only bad thing about taste-testing this gel is it comes off so easily. After I licked it off, I had to reapply to keep the cooling sensation going.

The gel feels natural when used with your fingers or a toy, and keeps things smooth while do get your groove on. The tackyness isn't very tacky and is easily fixed. Cleanup is incredibly easy, because it washes off with water (quite quickly, I might add).

The only performance issue it has is the cooling factor. When compared to other cooling gels, the sensation is very subtle and very light. Maybe it's a French thing? The American-made cooling gels are very 'in your face' and the sensation is strong. The French are much more subtle and coy, and this gel is no different.

The packaging on the gel is fantastic.

The cap keeps any leakage in place and avoids making a mess. But... the product does not leak. At all. Unless you accidently hit the pump you won't find any leakage at all.

The pump is a great delivery mechanism because it gives you exactly what you need and no more. The squeeze-tubes can easily get messy, and one hard squeeze will lose you a LOT of gel. One pump for a little, two pumps for a lot. Simple.

The packaging, while not discreet, is very attractive. The 1.6oz container is larger than most cooling gels, so this product is designed to last a long time.

While I give the volume and the packaging high marks, the performance is a little lacking for me. My favorite cooling gel is still the Cooling Intensifying Gel by KamaSutra. It may be expensive, and the tube can cause oversqueeze issues, the gel is intense and very cool. Fonzie-cool to be exact.

The So Fresh Cool Arousal Gel has more subtle sensations, which some may appreciate. I would have liked a little more intensity.
