This toy gave me a bit of a scare at first. I opened it up and put the battery in (one AA) and tried to start it up using the button located on the bottom. Nothing. Being me, I assumed I put the battery in the wrong way (it has happened before) So I took it out, looked to make sure I put it in the right way (I had) and tried again. Noting again. I have never gotten a toy before that did not function. I looked inside the battery compartment with a flashlight and there was a small, white sticker covering the battery connector at the other end. The battery compartment is about 2 inches deep and I was muttering the whole time trying to get this tiny 1/3 of an inch sticker off. I ended up having to use a letter opener to get it off. After this ordeal I put the battery back in and it immediately powered up.

The whole toy is about 5 inches long with about 4 insertable. Now I am a little lax on using toys for anal use even if they only have a small base, but as this toy has no base and does not even flare out a little at the base, I would not use it at all for anal. There are 3 settings of vibration, all pretty strong considering this toy only takes 1 AA, I suspect it will run out of battery juice pretty quickly. I assumed everyone does this, but make sure you use nice new batteries to get the best vibrations. I tried putting in a partially used battery and it was very weak. I acutally thought something was wrong with it as it was the second time I used it, and last time it was much stronger, then I put in fresh batteries and it was fine again.

The three vibration settings are I think what most people consider buzzy, so you are not going to get that thuddy sensation. The first setting is a little rumbly, the second a little faster and the last setting is a very fast buzzy vibration. However, the vibrations are a travel very nicely through the whole toy and are felt very deeply. It is great for thrusting and also on the clit. There are three bulges along the shaft and can be felt nicely when going slow. It is made out of plastic and can be sterilized using a 10% bleach solution. The decorative rhinestones are cute but obviously add no texture as they are completely sealed in a clear plastic. There is no smell to it, nor does it retain smells after use. It has a pleasant velvet texture to it which I love the feel of even just in my hand. It reminds me of the feel of a peach. It is very quiet, about the same noise as a vibrating cell phone.

It is small enough to be used by beginners, but it is not a flexible soft toy, so if that is what you want, do not get this toy. It has a soft texture but it is made out of hard plastic. It is waterproof so it can be enjoyed in the shower or tub if you want. You can use silicone or water based lube with this. I think most toy users would be able to find a use for this during play time.

This is still a fun toy but a toothbrush may be necessary occasionally to clean it. I have discovered there is a small crevice between the pink part of the vibrator and the clear plastic that seals in the stones. This area can catch small amounts of ... whatever. A toothbrush is the most effective way to clean this area out. It isn't a big deal but can be a minor inconvenience.
