ID pleasure sex toy review

ID Pleasure is not a bad water-based lubricant, but I didn't find its enhancer ingredients to be very effective in providing increased arousal and stimulation.
Published:
Pros

I like ID Glide lubricant|ID glide review, so I was really looking forward to trying ID Pleasure|ID pleasure Lubricant, which is supposedly the same formula enhanced with pleasure-increasing ingredients. It contains menthol, ginko biloba and red clover, which are supposed to increase stimulation. When I first tried a drop on my fingers, I did indeed feel a very slight cooling sensation from the menthol; however, this sensation did not increase with friction or by breathing or blowing on it, as with some enhancing lubes|Sex Lubricants.

ID Pleasure does have many of the properties of ID Glide—it is thick enough to stay where you put it, and provides long-lasting and fairly slippery lubrication. It can start to thicken if you let it sit, but it holds up well to prolonged use. Because of its thick nature it is noticeable when you use it, and I would recommend it for toy use over use during intercourse, where I think it would just be too much and too distracting. Also, because of its tendency to thicken if left to sit, I recommend immediate cleanup after using this lube; otherwise, it tends to get rather sticky and unpleasant.

Despite the initial cooling sensations during my initial “finger test,” I found the “enhancing” properties of this product to fall rather flat. Again, the menthol provided a very slight initial feeling of coolness when I applied the lube; after that, really, I did not notice any differences between this and a non-enhancing lube at all. After the initial application, there were no feelings of coolness or warmth, tingling, or increased blood flow to the region, and no greater ease in reaching orgasm. Bummer. I really had high hopes for this product, since I have used some effective stimulating lubes in the past and I like the ID line of products. This one, though, does not really provide any more stimulating properties than any other water-based lube|Lube classic water based, at least that I noticed. All in all, it’s not a bad product, and is effective as a lube; if you are looking for a little something more, though, I’d recommend looking somewhere else.
Follow-up commentary
Yet another "enhancing" lube that falls flat. Check out the Tantric Lovers lubes|Tantric lovers stimulating lubricant instead--I find their stimulating properties to be far more pronounced without being uncomfortable!
