The shape of the Getaway Luxe is very ergonomical and reminds me of a Stealth. It is 8 1/2" long with 6" being insertable.. The tip is 1 3/8" diameter and curves gently in about 1/2". The shaft is 1" diameter and flattens out at the end of the insertable area. The base with the controls flattens out to 2 3/8" wide, and has a gradual curve that is indented to protect and hide the control strip. On the back of the base, there is a 1/2" extruded area that is used as a wrist rest when using the vibrator for clitoral stimulation or sensory teasing. This is also a great rest and make giving a massage with the Luxe a pleasureable experience for the person giving the massage. It greatly reduces wrist fatigue and also makes sure the controls will not be changed accidentally during use.

When using this as a G-spot stimulator, you must be careful not to touch the control panel, it will be facing up. This is an amazing G-spot vibrator and has a perfect shape for targeting , rubbing or thrusting your G-spot.

The size is perfect for beginners to advanced users, the gentle curve at the tip is perfect for different G-spot anatomies and the base and shaft are very comfortable to position during use. This is packaged very discreetly, however it is obvious that it is a vibrator if the Luxe itself is seen. The Luxe is a perfect travel item and can be hidden within seconds.

To access the battery compartment, turn the flared side one half turn counter-clockwise. Remove the plastic battery container by using the pull ring on the top. Place 2 AA batteries, positive side down, into the container and replace it in the shaft of the Luxe. Disposable batteries operate at a higher voltage than rechargeable ones and produce stronger vibrations, adjust your vibration strength accordingly. Place the flared base 1/4 turn up and twist it back into place, make sure it is on securely especially if you are going to use this in water. The batteries last about 4 hours with constant use and about 4 1/2 hours when used intermittently.

Your Getaway Luxe has a waterproof, self-contained control panel. Remove the static cling decal prior to using the first time. There is an indented circle in the silicone right above the white control strip. This is a dedicated on/off switch. There is no memory chip so when you turn this off you do have to start at the beginning of the vibration patterns.

The white control strip has three different functions and is touch sensitive. The logo is the pattern control. Touch the logo for two seconds to change the vibration pattern. There are 3 vibration patterns. The first pattern is a constant vibration, the second pattern is a light pulse and the third pattern is a fast, harder pulse. There is an LED light that will blink once for the first pattern, two times for the second pattern and three times for the final pattern.

The vibrations can be felt throughout the shaft and tip of the vibrator, however, they are the strongest at the tip. The difference is very minor, but is discernable if you are really looking for it. The vibrations are in the upper, middle range for strength. They are throbby and fast bit are a bit lighter than I would have expected. They definitely worked, it just took a bit more of a build up than usual. My only complaint with this vibrator is that I wish it had just a bit stronger vibrations-but then I would never quit playing with it!

To adjust the speed of the vibrations, you slide your finger toward the end of the base to make it faster or towards the tip to slow the vibrations down. When you have your pattern and speed set up the way you like it, you press in on the flared end of the white control strip until the logo light turns red. This locks your preferences until you re-touch the lock to remove it and are then able to change your speed and vibrations. The lock automatically comes on when submersed in water, and the vibrator will continue to operate. This may be submersed up to three feet under water. To unlock it, you must dry the control strip thoroughly.

The Luxe is amazing in the tub or shower! There is no dampening of the vibrations from the water. The water enhances the stimulation of the vibrator and the texture of the material makes a lube unnecessary. I can not wait to try this at the lake or other water area this summer!

The Getaway Luxe is whisper quiet! Even on the highest speed, it is inaudible two feet away. I have never had a vibrator or heard little motor this quiet! It is comparable to a super efficient air purifier on low speed.

The Getaway Luxe is waterproof and is fully submersible. I wash this in warm, soapy water, rinse it thoroughly and let it air dry prior to placing it back in its box. I also use a toy cleaner after washing for sanitization and hygiene. I do use a very soft, baby's toothbrush to gently scrub around the control panel and battery access seam

The soft, velvety silicone does pick up bits of lint from cloth, if you must dry it with a cloth, purchase a micro-fiber eyeglass cleaning cloth. These work very well for wiping or drying items that are lint magnets.

To avoid damage to the premium silicone, use only WATER BASED lubricant. You do not want to break down or ruin your Luxe designer vibrator with an incompatible lubricant. Oil and silicone lubes cause chemical reactions that can break down and deteriorate the silicone material of your Luxe.

The original box is a convenient and elegant storage option. You can leave it out on your dresser, place it in your dresser drawer or tuck it into your toy box. Do NOT store this outside of packaging with other silicone, TPR, TPE or PU coated items, it will break down or discolor the material on your Luxe. Remove the batteries prior to storage to prevent damage from leaking.

The Getaway Luxe has very high quality packaging that adds the finishing touches to the luxury and quality of the vibrator. It is designed for discreet, safe storage of your Luxe designer vibrator.

There is a thin cardboard sleeve that is non-discreet. Slide this off and you have a pretty and functional cloth surfaced hardboard box. The box is white with very faint, silver logos stamped all over the fabric. There is one burgundy, 1" circle with the 'nt' logo inside it that is centered on the top. Very nice, discreet and could be left out on your dresser.

The inside of the box has ribbon hinges and a padded satin lined top. The Luxe lays on a formed cardboard insert that is covered with white satin. There is a manual tucked in the side of the insert. The box measures: 9 1/2" long, 3 3/4" wide and is 2 3/8" tall.
