I Lost my Thrill on Blueberry Hill

I would recommend this vibrator to anyone who likes one that is a bit more slender and smaller than your typical traditional one. It will also be great for anyone who likes higher pitched vibrations. It's definitely well made and comes at an unbeatable price.

useful review
I really wanted to love this vibrator. With so many positive reviews, I was sure I would love it? But unfortunately I don't. Many of the reasons that this is not a vibe for me may be personal preferences. So take them with a grain of salt. But if you're one who prefers larger vibrators with stronger, deeper vibrations you might want to look elsewhere.

The Turbo Glider Blueberry is a traditional vibrator with a bit of a twist. It is made out of transparent hard plastic and comes in a very pretty deep teal color. I do like hard plastic because it is so smooth and doesn't require much lubrication. I also like how easy hard plastic is to clean. Though it is not sterilizable, cleaning it is easy by washing it with soap and water. If you will be sharing this though, you probably will want to use a condom.

At 6 1/4 inches long, 5 1/4 of them insertable and a slender 3 inches circumference it is a bit on the small side. What I thought was really interesting about it was the three different sized bulbs at the tip. Unfortunately when I used it, I wasn't really able to feel them due to it's overall small size. Though I do think this might be perfect for a beginner or someone who likes smaller toys.

The vibrations in the Turbo Glider are the higher pitched buzz type. I feel that these types of vibrations feel good to the top layer of the skin but have no real depth to them. Again, yes, this is personal preference. One great thing about this vibrator is that it has a dial base and you can easily increase or decrease the intensity of the vibrations, which at the highest setting do get fairly strong. The motor is near the top but the vibrations can be felt throughout the whole toy. This also a pretty noisy vibrator. I would definitely close the door if you don't want anyone knowing what you're doing. This runs on 2 AA batteries that are loaded into the bottom by screwing off the base. The batteries seem to last for quite a long time, so this is not a battery hog by any means.

The Turbo Glider can be used for vaginal or clitoral stimulation. I have tried it several times for both and had no success with either. I always ended up turning it off and grabbing a different vibrator to finish things off.

I wouldn't recommend it for anal play due to the fact that it doesn't have a flared base and it's not sterilizable. This claims to be a waterproof toy, but it doesn't seem watertight to me. So I've never tried it in the tub or shower and I wouldn't recommend it if you want it to last.

Overall I would recommend this vibrator to anyone who likes one that is a bit more slender and smaller than your typical traditional one. It will also be great for anyone who likes higher pitched vibrations. It's definitely well made and comes at an unbeatable price.
Follow-up commentary
I'm still not crazy about this vibe. I took the batteries out of it a long time ago and tossed it to the back of the toy drawer. Will I ever use this again? Sure, if all my other ones break and I get desperate. Actually it's not a super bad vibe, it's just not worth the trouble for me.

It has worked great for anal insertion for me (and feels GREAT)... it's too long to be going anywhere. (At least for my body)
And I cannot imagine this long inflexible toy is going to be making any sharp 90 degree turns into the colon, so I am assuming the only extent that this thing could get lost, is in someone with a much larger than average rectum, but even then I wouldn't concider it being "lost", since it would probably only require a push out.

In fact, this is the vibe I would recommend to anyone first starting out with anal play. Plus the vibrations range from mild to super strong. (Not as strong as some C-Cell metal vibes, but certainly one of the strongest 2AA vibes out there)
The only feature to make this perfect would be different modes, but then it would probably cost x2 or x3 more.

Also, this is indeed fully waterproof (unlike many other vibes that claim to be).
I have used it fully submerged on the highest setting in my pool, without any water getting in. (I check after every use in the pool, and no water enters inside)
I also have had this for over a year and used it in my shower and pool multiple times in the summers. Seems to have lasted this long, without any loss in vibration or functionality. (Even leaving the batteries in for an extended period of inactivity seems to do no degradation)

BTW, how is this not sterilizable ?

    Alt,
I'm sorry you disagree. But my review is well done and more than somewhat useful. Since you have so much to say about the blueberry and you love it so much, why haven't you written your own review?

And from what I understand you should not boil a plastic vibrator or put it in the dishwasher. Those are the only true ways to sterlize. Anything else is just disinfecting. And disinfecting is just fine but it's not the same.

Though sterilize vs disinfect is a shady area by ways of terminology, I do have to agree with the review. You can wipe plastic down with 10% bleach, and you can use toy cleanser on it, but that's not really "sterile" the way a glass or steel toy would be after a good dip in boiling water.

But it's good to hear a good experience with the waterproofing. Nice review Newme21! This looks like one of those really economical toys. Big smile

    Nice review lady!
I think it's always wise to error on the side of caution when it comes to anal insertion. Everyone has to evaluate his or her own body and what it's capable of, but a warning that this toy is not designed to prevent being fully inserted, should you practice deep penetration, is not out of line.

Also, I am curious if anyone has ever boiled(or tossed in the dishwasher) their plastic vibe and had it continue to work? I can't imagine it's a good idea, but hell, you can't know for sure unless you try... right? lol

-->"my review is well done and more than somewhat useful"
I have thought the same from reviews I have created, but there are many that have even posted "not useful at all".
It's a matter of opinion based on the reader, and I am sure there is always someone out there that doesn't agree with a review or votes it low.
I just typically don't vote a review more than "somewaht useful" (which is a C) unless they have owned it for a long time and reveal some insight, talk about how it was anally, or provide pictures for comparison to objects or other toys.

-->"Since you have so much to say about the blueberry and you love it so much, why haven't you written your own review?"
I don't think I have a lot say about it since I only use it probably once or twice a month.
I more commonly use the njoy 2.0 butt plug or various glass Don Wand toys, but haven't written reviews on them because either EF doesn't carry some Don Wand products, or there are too many reviews for a toy already.

Plus, I stopped writing reviews because of the large number of reviews already out there, and lack of time with college.
I mainly did it to try and get some free toys, but there are so many restrictions and such a long waiting period now (like 2 months or so to be accepted to do an "official" review) that its not really worth it anymore (IMO)

-->"And from what I understand you should not boil a plastic vibrator or put it in the dishwasher."
Plastic works in my dishwasher. Never tried a toy, but im sure it would work.
Plus, why would you need to do such an overkill process when soap and water works well for any hard material toy?

BTW, I wasn't putting down your review at all... just simply giving my POV on the toy.

I love your title. You are dead on about anal play and sterilization. Also, I've never washed anything with a motor in my dishwasher. Just seems stupid to me.

Nice review. I think you covered all areas well and included accurate information. I think Alt has some issues with lots of reviews- he's made the same type comments made on mine regarding anal use. I think he must look at the reviews for the purpose of making the same comments but I'd rather error on the side of safety- no flare end= no anal. Unfortunately, not all toys can be used in multiple areas!!
  • Contributor: removedacnt
Thank you for the kind words Mamastoys!

    @Mamastoys

-->"Alt has some issues with lots of reviews"
Which ones do I have issues with?

-->"he's made the same type comments made on mine regarding anal use"
What type of comments... saying that I disagree with the assumption that a long enough object would get "lost" ?
    Which reviews of yours?

-->"he must look at the reviews for the purpose of making the same comments"
    Which comments?

    -->"no flare end= no anal"
Then could you explain to me how an unbendable toy (like this one) with a length longer than the rectum itself (about 4.70 inches) could make a 90 degree (inside the rectum) turn and get "stuck" into the sigmoid colon section.
I have a topic in the forum on it if you would like to reply there instead: [https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-forum/sex-toys/anal-toys/anal-toys-without-base/]

-->"not all toys can be used in multiple areas!! "
I agree, but I don't see how this one could not be.
