I dreamed it would be better

This is not really a G-Spot stimulator, unless you don't need a lot of stimulation. Maybe Lucid Dream no. 61, or no. 80 have better results, but 60 missed the mark. It makes me question 1-59...

Use

This is supposed to be a g-spot stimulator. I say supposed to be, because so far? I'm not overly impressed. It has a curved head, and a bullet toward the tip. I've had better results stimulating my g-spot with my finger, though. I'm the type that likes power in my bullet, and this Lucid Dream did not have power. In my opinion, it is better served as a place holder than a vibrator. It boasts being quiet, which it is, but it trades power for quiet. I'd rather get off loudly any day, if it meant that I got off! If you don't need a lot of stimulation, then it may work for you, but there isn't much power. I need a bit more oomph in my vibrators, so it's not something that really triggered anything spectacular for me.

Material / Texture

This vibrator is described as jelly material -- which is described as Poly vinyl chloride. It's pleasantly smooth, and has a rubbery feel and scent. You can use silicone, and water-based lubricants with it. This is how the site describes it, at least.

From my perspective, the smell was quite strong out of the package. It was not really bad -- it was just a typical rubbery smell. It seems like after a couple of washes, and now the smell isn't as strong. The shaft is smooth but with a little bit of friction on it. If you don't have a lot of your own lubrication, I would recommend adding some -- if you like it slick.

Design / Shape / Size

The top of the shaft has a bulb on it that is curved to one side. It then narrows, with a slight enlargement toward the 'control' area. The shape isn't bad for what it was designed for, but it misses the mark with the added bullet, which is in the bulb area. If the bullet was stronger, the bulb would be much better to use. It's 6 inches long, and the top bulb is less than 2 inches wide. The top of the shaft is about an inch thick, and then it widens out again to 2". It's a nice shape like I mentioned, but that's where it ends for usage.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This isn't something that I'm going to use regularly. I have been chasing the so far un-found ability to squirt, and was hoping this would aid in the G stimulation. As stated earlier, though, it's more of a place holder than a vibrator. It is incredibly quiet, but really, that is not something I care about. It may as well be silent, for all the good that does. It is meant to be waterproof, and so far that hasn't been an issue. The controls are easy; it is on the bottom. It's just a turn knob that adjusts the vibrations. This is also where batteries are located, so be careful not to turn the knob the wrong way at the wrong time!

Care and Maintenance

For cleaning, jelly can't be sterilized like silicone - so no boiling water. Since jelly toys can't be sanitized, they can't be shared unless you put a condom over them. Clean jelly toys with the warm water and a toy cleaner. Don't use strong soaps on them, and keep them in a cool, dark place. Again, this is the care instructions from the website.

Having a waterproof toy is nice, because you don't have to be overly cautious of having it in the sink, and washing it well. Of course, you don't want to keep it soaking with batteries in it, just to be safe.

It also doesn't seem to attract a lot of extra lint or hair, which is a nice feature for a jelly toy.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store
Follow-up commentary
This thing has pretty much become worthless. Too bad that you can't donate toys, I'd give it to the less fortunate. Or maybe not....
