If you're looking for some cute glass starter balls then these are for you! They're well made and have a nice tin to store them. If you actually intend to use them regularly though beware that you just might outgrow them quickly. Worth the money for occasional use but go for the Luna beads if you want to use them all the time.
These earn a disappointing "meh" from me.

Cons
Too light for intermediate to advanced users No user instructions or warnings
These pretty little crystal balls (or vagina balls as my boyfriend calls them) are intended as a workout to strengthen your PC muscles. To use you simply insert one or both loose crystal balls into the vagina and go about your daily business. No one will know they are in so you can wear them wherever you like, but I do recommend you wear underwear just in case they fall out.
They are supposed to be a slight challenge to hold in, thus forcing you to do your kegels. Sounds pretty awesome to me! They can also be worn during vaginal intercourse which is said to provide extra sensation to you and your partner.
These aren't very heavy so I would recommend them to beginners.
Again these are only meant to be used vaginally. They are just loose glass balls and there would be no way to retrieve them in you put them in your ass. I'm sure that would be a very embarrassing trip to the ER.
*Just a little side note, I did find that these pinched some when both were inserted. I don't know if it was just because they were glass, or because they were loose. Either way it did not feel good.
The Crystal Balls by California Exotics are made of Pyrex glass, earning a strong 10 on the Eden safety scale. They are not porous at all so very low maintenance. Despite some bubbles on the inside of them they are completely smooth on the outside, not even the slightest hint of texture.
Glass is very rigid and has absolutely no give so these essentially feel like over-sized marbles. Out of the package they had no smell, and after washing no taste.
The glass feels strong and I am confident that they will hold up over time. I was pleasantly surprised that there weren't any imperfections on the surface since they were inexpensive.
Glass can hold temperature so if you stick them in cold water before inserting it can provide a different sensation. They warm up rather quickly too and will hold the heat well.
The balls are clear with pink hearts inside of them. They have sort of a quirky charm to them since the hearts aren't perfectly shaped. I was a bit disappointed that the colors didn't looks as vibrant in person as they did on the product page, but no big deal.
They are perfect little spheres about 1 inch in diameter and 3.5 inches in circumference. I would say that considering both the size and weight they would be good for beginners. A good first time kegel toy for any woman who is already sexually active (be it with a penis, or toys) and women who have given birth. Of course there are women who do their kegels regularly and without toys, and I would not consider them beginners. I'm terribly sorry that I don't have the weight of them. Just as I took my digital scale out I noticed that the battery was dead.
I was hoping for something a little heavier personally. I'm not advanced, but I'm also no beginner.
I would say these are pretty discreet. If you had them in your travel bag and someone happened to see them I don't think they'd guess what they are.
These crystal balls were just underwhelming for me. After reading the reviews I was really excited to try them out. I had high hopes but I didn't find them really challenging. Every once in a while I was reminded that they were there, but not often enough to count as a workout. I also didn't enjoy the occasional pinching as I moved about. That was really my only reminder that they were inside of me.
They are really cute and I know they have worked for others so I don't blame the product. I just really think they'd be better as a first kegel toy for someone who has never worked out their PC muscles. After some time with these I think they can be easily outgrown, which isn't terrible because they were cheap.
I mentioned how great it was that these had no imperfections to be felt on the outside.
At the end of the day these just didn't work for me.
The pyrex glass is very easy to clean. The cheapest and easiest way I found was warm water and antibacterial soap. You can also use a toy cleaner if you prefer.
Water, oil, and silicone based lubes are safe to use. These balls are super low maintenance which is really important to me. Thanks to the cute heart shaped tin they are also easy to store.
The crystal balls were packaged in a pink heart shaped tin, (if you choose the purple butterfly ones, they come in a purple heart tin) with two satin lined indents to fit the balls.
There is a piece of tape over the lid that says "Crystal Balls, Hand blown glass duotone pleasure balls with hearts" with the Cal Ex logo on it. I was really happy to see that when you remove this piece of tape, the logo and description of the product comes with it. This leaves you with a discreet pink tin.

Beginners may be disappointed to know that there aren't any user unstructions included with this product. While some-what self explanatory I really think there should have at least been a warning about inserting them anally.
Like I have said I was just plain underwhelmed. They didn't challenge my PC muscles at all so I more than likely won't use them again. Like another user, my cat did enjoy batting them around the living room floor while I started at them with disappointment.
Jumping around didn't change much. They offered up no arousal whatsoever which I kind of expected since they didn't have little balls rolling around inside them like the Luna Beads by Lelo have.
Also, after dealing with the pinching in my solo use I was not about to put my partner through that and use them during sex. I'm sure he would not have been too pleased with me after that.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it1 month after original review
I'm still not a fan of these personally and they continue to sit in my toy box. They just aren't enough of a challenge and the more I have looked at them, the more I have thought the design looks a little bit childish.
I have the Luna Noir beads and really feel that they are more effective, and they don't pinch me either! I'm sure someone else would find these effective, they're just not for me.
