This was my first bullet, at least my first non-wireless one. The reason I purchased it was for clitoral stimulation during sex. I chose this one over others because I noticed that I prefer the bullets attached to my rabbit vibrators a whole lot more than the little wireless bullets/finger vibes I'd been experimenting with. I determined that not only did I need something with a more "rumbly" type of vibration, I also needed something that could cover a larger area and that had a soft material covering it.

The control pack is a clear, hard plastic with a dial on the front for power/speed control. The bullet is a plain metal bullet with a TPR dolphin sleeve. I found there to be a very minor odor to the TPR portion, but it dissipated after a couple of washings. The material has a slight drag to it and does grab lint, dust, etc so I would recommend cleaning thoroughly and storing in a satin storage bag or the provided packaging. I found the TPR to be comfortable to use, but I have read that some people find it uncomfortable for some reason. TPR is less porous than CyberSkin but more porous than silicone, so condoms are usually recommended, especially if it is being shared between partners. TPR is compatible with both water and silicone lubricants and comes in at a 7 on the EF materiel safety meter.

The controller pack is approximately 4 inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and .75 inches deep. It fits in the hand comfortably and is easy to adjust one-handed by turning the dial. The dolphin bullet is about 3.5 inches long and 1.75 inches in diameter. The controller is small enough that it does not get in the way, but large enough to easily find. The bullet is small enough to hug all of your little bits but large enough that it is easy to hold onto, even when a little slippery. The toy would be easy enough to hide, unless maybe you used the original packaging for storage.

The control pack is cheaply made; I feel it could break easily. And as always, wired bullets have the potential for a short life span because of wear and tear, especially if the wire is wiggled too much and comes detached or shorts out inside the control pack or bullet. If this were to happen though, the dolphin sleeve is pretty stretchy and I don't see why you couldn't pick up an inexpensive replacement bullet and add the sleeve to it. When peering into the opening of the sleeve, the bullet appears to be of the typical "hard plastic with a silvery paint job" variety found on most "metallic" bullets. Also, I see a rubber gasket protecting the entry point of the wire into the bullet. This makes me feel better about cleaning, and also reduces the risk of wire-wiggling damage. There is not, however, a similar gasket of any kind on the wire's entry point to the control pack.

The dolphin's nose effectively provides strong, pinpoint stimulation, but I prefer using a larger part of it to cover a larger area on me (but that's just a personal preference). The cord is about 3 feet long, more than enough slack to hold the battery pack at a comfortable distance depending on your position and who is holding it.

I feel that for the price and basic design, this bullet does everything it is supposed to do. I haven't had it long enough to say for sure if it uses batteries up quickly, but after a few uses I don't even notice a lessening of power. It requires 2 AA's, which are not included. Batteries are easy enough to install. The TPR sleeve will, as expected, dampen the vibrations just a bit, but I happen to be among those who do not like direct contact with a plain metallic bullet. Noise-wise, I found that it wasn't terribly loud. On the highest setting, it could probably be heard from under covers, but probably not through doors or walls. The packaging claims that this toy is waterproof, but that is only the bullet itself. The control pack is no where near water-tight, so please do not take it in the tub, shower, or pool.

The power and speed are controlled by a dial on the front of the control pack. It was easy to turn on, off, and change speed. However, when using it during sex, I turned it on and left the controller to the side, and bumped it and accidentally turned it down a little bit. So this is an item you would definitely want to keep an eye on.

I was fairly impressed by the vibrations. They were rumbly, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The lowest setting was a nice starter, but not too weak. I don't think I've ever gone all the way to the highest speed other than for a few seconds the first time I used it, just to see what it could do.

As mentioned in the Functions section, the bullet is waterproof but the control pack is not. I would recommend either unwinding the wire enough that the bullet can be cleaned in the sink without the control pack being anywhere near, or removing the sleeve and washing it separately. The control pack, wire, and bullet could be cleaned with a damp cloth to remove anything that may have gotten on it. Keep in mind that TPR is slightly porous and therefore can NOT be sterilized. I would recommend an anti-bacterial hand soap or anti-bacterial toy cleaner if you have it (check out my review of Wet Keep It Clean Toy Wash). It can be stored in the packaging if you desire, but see packaging section on size and lack of discreetness. I would recommend a satin bag or similar material that will not produce lint or fuzz, as the material will collect it!

This item comes in a box about 8 inches wide, 6 inches tall, and 2 inches deep. The package is not very discreet; there is a naked woman and wording all over it. Let me just say that the best part of the packaging was the amusing, poorly translated English. Inside the box, there is a plastic tray holding the toy itself. I suppose the packaging could be used for storage, as long as you have the space for it and don't mind that it's pretty obvious what's inside.

Being that this is my first real bullet, I don't have anything to really compare it to. However, I would say that overall, it does what it is supposed to do and I got what I expected for it being rather inexpensive.

I specifically chose this type of toy because I am in the middle of a journey to achieve orgasm during sex! I have the wonderful problem of needing internal and external stimulation, but the external has to be vibration. I have not achieved it yet, even after two attempts with this bullet. However, I think that has more to do with trying to find the right position and getting my darling to last long enough (brought that part up to him, he was NOT happy). I am confident that with more attempts and as he gets more comfortable trying new positions, there is a very good chance this toy might just do the trick! Wish me luck.
