The Play Allure by Durex is a standard vibrators. Firm, smooth, and slightly shaped, it is very basic, and lacking any extra bells and whistles. Designed primarily for vaginal use, without a flared base, it is not suggested at all for anal play.

It's small size, and smooth texture makes it a fantastic starter toy for those new to vibrators, or sex in general. However those more experienced may find it less than fantastic. Great for solo play, but even more fun when your partner uses it on you. It has an incredible vibration for only being run on a single AA battery.

It has a discreet appearance, and is easily storable it's soft storage pouch. The key benefit of it's size is how easily storable it is. Whether living at home with your parents or on campus in a dorm, you'll have no trouble finding a place to hide this vibrator.

Rated as an 8 on the Eden Fantasy Safety Scale, this vibrator is made of hard plastic that is non-porous, with a firm smooth texture. Other benefits of this vibrator are that it is made of food-grade material, it is hypo-allergenic, and latex free, making it a usable toy for just about anyone. I've had this for some time, but do not recall it having a noticeable smell upon receiving it, and if it did, that odor has long since faded.

The speed control is the only textured part of this entire toy. With the Durex logo on the front, and speed ramp on the back, it helps make the wheel easier to turn, especially when you've got lube on your hands.

A somewhat discreet design, this toy does not scream dildo/vibrator like a lot of the other toys in my collection, but it I still wouldn't leave it out on the coffee table with company coming over. The toy is 6-1/2" over all length with 4-3/4" of insertable length. The Play Allure has a slightly bulbous shape, with a rounded tip, slowly tapering to it's widest point in the center with a 4" circumference, and then tapering back down to the control switch.





As I've mentioned, this would be a great toy for those new to vibrators, looking to explore masturbation, or new to sex in general. It's basic shape, small size, and lack of extra features may not be appealing to those used to more excitement.

The only feature this toy provides is a multispeed vibration. It is easily conrolled by a turn knob at the base of the toy, allowing you to see the speed as slow or fast as you desire. The Play Allure sends a powerful vibration straight up to the tip where the bullet is located.

There are a variety of speeds to pick from, between weak and strong. It allows for good battery life, is easy to use, and only puts of a medium amount of noise.

There are no other bells and whistles offered with this vibrator. It is as basic as they come, so please beware of what you're buying. Again, great for beginners, not so much for the pros.

Being made of plastic, this toy is very easy to clean with warm water and mild soap. It can also be wiped down with rubbing alcohol, or toy cleaners as well. Since it can not be fully sterilized, if sharing with a partner, or part of group play, be sure to use a condom on it, and switch out between partners.

This vibrator works well with water, oil, or silicone based lubricants.

It is easily stored in any number of places, and comes with a nice soft storage pouch to keep it in and keep it protected.

Personally, this toy's bland shape doesn't do a whole lot for me when inserted vaginally. I get more pleasure from holding it against my clit and feeling the vibrations that way. I think if the toy had more of a realistic shape and size it would be more pleasurable as an insertable toy, but I suppose that's why they make so many different styles of vibrators...different strokes for different folks.
