Discretion is a power bullet, powered by watch batteries. It is nice and discreet from a distance, but they went and put the word "exotic" on it. It is worth the purchase, because overall, it is a good bullet.

Pros
2 rounds of batteries included and powerful for watch batteries
Cons
Takes four watch batteries, cheap wire, and not as discreet as it should be.
Are you currently living in a household where you need discretion when it comes to your personal play time? Do you often travel and worry that the TSA will hold up that item you are hoping they do not? Is there ever a time when you are away from home and you just feel the need to rub one off? Well then the answer could possibly be Discretion.
Discretion is a small compact bullet that is hidden in its own case. The size is small enough to pack in your bag, purse, or luggage. The case resembles something that makeup would be in, so when the TSA held it up, no one would know what it is. It would be all at your discretion.
Bullets can be used to stimulate areas of the body like nipples, the clitoris, the penis, the testicles, and the anus. They are not meant to be used internally, especially in the rectum. It can easily be sucked inside resulting in an ER visit you do not want.
Discretion is made out of plastic, which has a safety rating of an 8. Plastic does not have any associated smells or tastes. It is also latex free, phthalates free, hypo allergenic, and food grade material. This material is also non porous, so you can share it if you like, but you should use an alcohol solution for cleaning. The plastic is smooth and firm to the touch. The plastic has a silver coat on it, but it is well done and there is no sign of scratches or chipping.
There is a crease in the plastic were a seam would be. Otherwise it is completely smooth.
Discretion is designed like a make up compact; you know the face powder with the mirror inside the case. The case is circular, with a circumference of 3” and it stands 1” tall. It is silver with black type on it, saying Discretion and California Exotic Novelties, on the top. When you flip in upside down you can see the battery compartment. There is a spot to push down and slide the piece to insert the batteries. Flipping this upright and having the words so you can read them, you will see on the side is a three humped button. You push this in and lift up the top to open the case. Once it is open you can see that the top flip lid is a mirror. Now looking at the rest of the case you will see a 1” long hour glass shaped piece with a black string on top of it. This is the bullet you pull the string to pop the bullet out of its place, then you pull to bring out the wire. Down the case and the right side you will she a stick tab with a swirl next to it, this is how you ravel up the 36" wire to keep it compact. You flip up this stick tab and turn is to the right. To the left of this is a slider switch. This is to control the vibrations. There are three total settings.
My mirror is unusable; it is fogged and starched beyond fixing or cleaning, but no big deal. The bullet shape reminds me of the Sin Five Emigi, but with a crease for the seam. The wire attached is the normal cheesy wire, like what is attached to the Eden bullet. The stick tab is a neat way to retrieve the wire, but the stick could break, so do be careful with it. The switch is very easy to use, just like any other slider switch. The main flaw in the design is the type on the top. If you are looking to purchase a discreet sex toy, writing Exotic on the top is not a good idea.
Discretion is controlled by four watch batteries, but California Exotic Novelties does include not one, but two rounds of batteries for you. However it does eat these batteries right on up, so it is a battery guzzler. The slider switch is located in the inside and there are four total clicks. There is one for off, low, medium, and high. Actually for watch batteries this bullet is powerful, it is comparable to the Eden bullet. The sound of this bullet is whisper quiet and that is on any of the settings. If you do have the bullet on a hard surface and turn it on it will make loud noise, but otherwise is really quiet. When you do use the vibrations a red light turns on, to tell you it is in use. The vibrations are located all over the inch long bullet, but only on high are they enough to vibrate your hand. This toy is not at all waterproof, so you should not even try that. This bullet is great for all levels of users and may not rock your socks off, but it is worth purchasing.
I recommend using toy wipes to clean this toy, unless it was shared then you should use alcohol solution. I think it should only be washed that way, so there is less of a chance of water damage to the controls, plus the wire may not handle water very well.
You can store this anywhere from the night stand to your purse. It is mostly discreet, but someone read the top it would be figured out what is inside, which is a major flaw in the design.
I do not get why a product that is made to be discreet would not come in discreet packaging, but it doesn't. There are instructions included inside.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it6 months after original review
While I rarely use this toy. It's still a good one. I don't like that eats batteries or that it takes watch batteries, but overall it's a cute toy. I have tried to any other discreet compact vibrators since this toy. However, if you are looking for a powerful, small, discreet, and silent lover check out Salsa.
