So, you read 50 Shades and are now trying to figure out the hype of Ben Wa balls or a Kegel exerciser. It is intended to work the pelvic floor muscles inside the vagina. You use these muscles when controlling urine flow, in childbirth and during orgasm. It's obviously a very important muscle. So, say you are having incontinence issues, wanting to strengthen muscles to either prepare for childbirth or recover, or you just want to feel a little tighter, this little beauty (well not little) will definitely do the trick. It gives a little side note of awareness. If you are pregnant or literally just had a baby and want to use any product in the vaginal area, it is best to discuss it with your ob-gyn, especially if you have a high risk pregnancy or recently delivered. We don't want you risking you or your baby's health. I know this sounds like common sense, but it had to be said out of love!

The balls are made from food grade silicone. EdenFantasys rates this material a perfect 10 on the safety scale. Nothing beats that! These balls do have a ribbed texture that can be uncomfortable during insertion if you are either very small internally or did not use a safe water based lubricant. The silicone itself is velvety soft and I have not had problems with it picking up lint as you might expect. As expected with silicone, there is no smell at all to this product.

The overlaid design on these balls is really cool but I am not sure if there is a greater purpose other than looks. I don't feel it aided in its strengthening intention. Like I mentioned earlier, these are on the large side so if you have any doubts, please buy the Uno. I did notice that you have to insert each egg separately or you will have some difficulty and can even get pinched. Ouch! There is no give to this product. So don't expect something soft and "squishy" that you can manipulate while inserting. There is a continuation with the silicone when they made the extraction "string." It is comfortable when wearing so that you don't notice it too much and you won't risk losing it internally. I was a bit weary of it breaking during removal but that hasn't occurred yet. Despite appearances, it is quite sturdy!

Looking back, I think I might have been a little happier just buying the Uno for comfort. This product makes you feel rather full when trying to walk around or exercise like intended. I was able to feel the gentle rumbling/vibrations that the inner balls provide. The best way I can describe it is as a pleasant, gentle vibration when moving around. It isn't constant and actually caught me off guard when it did occur. When out in public wearing them, it was a little exciting! It was like I had a dirty secret that I was enjoying myself right in front of unsuspecting viewers! I was a little worried it would make an audible noise during wear like they do outside the body. Luckily, they don't! I did notice that I don't actually have to make a conscious effort to keep them in place. I don't know if that is due to the size and weight of the balls, but I definitely didn't feel at risk of having them just fall out. Maybe the tiny stimulations, produced by the inner balls of the product, trigger the muscle contractions for you. My spouse and I have noticed a difference since I started using these a few months ago. I have also noticed better bladder control since initiation as well. I know that might be a little too much information, but once you have kids, it's a real important issue.

They are easy to clean with warm water and soap, or even toy cleaner and wipes. Be aware of the ridges in the design and give them extra attention. I haven't noticed any breakdown or wear and tear on the balls yet. I think these will last an exceptional amount of time. I keep them in a silky bag in a drawer to prevent the temptation for any lint to attach to them.
