Good Vibes on a Budget
This is a fantastic little vibe to have on hand considering the common battery type, more strength than expected, and low cost! The Pixie may not be enough to trigger a finale for some, but others will find it plenty. In either case, it is great to use to get started. The size is small which makes it discreet and a possible option for (careful) backside introductions. Plastic construction makes for easy storage and cleaning!

Pros
Cheap, common battery size, effective
Cons
Vibe may be not enough for some, single speed
Initial Impression (Packaging)
The Pixie comes in a standard sex toy clam shell type packaging (much like action figures, I suppose). It is not very discreet in packaging, as there are graphic photos, but it is easily concealable when removed from package. One thing I feel I should mention is that I wish the package was sealed. Though I trust EdenFantasys to not resell returned toys, it is a bit disconcerting that there is more of a safety seal on tin foil than on a sex toy.
Shape/Size/Texture
The vibe is mostly straight, with a curved tip that is great for applying pressure to the clit. The shaft is slightly thinner than the first inch of the tip and base, but the overall thickness varies little for the length of the toy. It is about two lengths of my middle finger and with a similar girth (somewhere between a traditional fat highlighter and standard sharpie marker), think thick finger sized. There are no surprises here; it’s a really basic design, which makes it more about your imagination than about the toy's shape and size. The texture is very smooth as it is plastic. There is a slight ridge about an inch from the tip and from the base, but this is unlikely to come into play unless you are extremely sensitive.
Vibration
The Pixie has a one speed setting (controlled by a single button on base) which may be disappointing to some, but it works well for such a simple toy. There is significant power considering the size, though it is not earth shattering. It is similar to the magic bullet, if a bit less powerful. The wavelength of the vibration is decent too, so it is unlikely that there will be numbing effect from the vibrations themselves. In terms of noise level, it can be heard through sheets, but not through a closed door.
Material/Safety (Cleaning)
Since the vibe is predominantly hard, translucent, food-grade plastic, you could use most lubes, but it is best to stick on the safe side and just use a water based lube. The body is mostly smooth, hard plastic, but there are the two ridges (metal, I think) as seen in the picture. Avoid any sudden heating or cooling as to not destroy the toy. As with most waterproof hard plastic toys, soap and water and approved sex toy cleaner are the best options (though this is not included information on the packaging, so proceed with caution). Notably, it is battery powered and plastic, so no boiling. For cleaning and material information, check out the Eden Guide under "Plastic": https://www.edenfantasys.com/info/sexuality-articles/
Appearance/Quality
The purple plastic is clear with glitter; actually quite nice looking. Overall, the Pixie is quite sturdy, especially for only ~$12.
Batteries
The Pixie is powered by 2 AAA batteries, which makes them an easy find, far more so than watch batteries or the D series. This makes battery purchase discreet. The screw cap is well designed and easy to work with.
Uses
This vibe is most useful for clitoral stimulation and all over body teasing. It can be inserted vaginally, though the vibration is the main event, not the small size. On that note, the size makes it an option those considering trying anal play. Keep in mind that the base is not flared and be careful not to lose it, seriously. Really, it is a little vibrator, be creative, be careful, and have fun!

Experience
As a male reviewer, I have used this item on myself as well as partners. The low cost makes it a guilt-free re-purchase. Personally and from the viewpoint of partners, it is a great little toy that is more powerful than expected. If trying for anal play, keep in mind the base is not flared, so proceed with caution! Also, if using for anal play, use a condom or toy cover or purchase a toy committed permanently to anal and a second for vaginal use; this is easy as the Pixie comes in multiple colours!
