If you are new to realistic vibrators or are looking for something that doesn't have a ton of bells and whistled, Cal Exotics Spellbound stud curved jack may be the toy for you. While semi-realistic, its minimal veining and fun color choices make it a nonintimidating choice for newbies.

The spellbound jack can be used alone or with a partner. It has no clitoral arm so this is a penatrative toy, however the vibrations can also be held against the clitoris. The curved angle of the vibrator allows for easier gspot stimulation. The waterproof feature makes this toy great to use in the shower.

The material is a very hard PVC. It has no bend whatsoever. I could describe the material most comparable to a dull plastic. It has minimal drag. In use, it feels very stiff and unforgiving. I would only use waterbased lubricant with the PVC material to prevent any chemical reactions. It has no smell or taste whatsoever.

The texture of this toy is lightly veined, which makes it a semi-realistic vibrator. For those who do not like textured toys, this is not for you. I predict that most will find the veining pleasurable. PVC has a safety rating of only 2, so advanced toy users may skip this due to porosity.

The total length of the spellbound jack is 7 inches, however only 5 are insertable, making it an average sized toy. The circumference comes in at 5.5", with a diameter of 1.6". The curve is great for gspotting and I was successful in reaching mine with this toy. The head of the toy is thinner than the base, which some who appreciate fullness in the head may not enjoy. I liked the gradient increase in size. The vibrator has no balls or clitoral arm for clitoral stimulation.

The base of the spellbound jack has a twist dial to activate the vibrations. There are no distinct speeds, however they get more intense gradually. The vibrations come from the shaft and are more rumbly than buzzy. I can feel the vibrations more prominantly inside than when using this on the clitoris. Those who are looking for power clitorally will be disappointed. The vibrations are not too loud, and cannot be heard through a blanket combined with a closed door. It wakes 2 AA batteries which are inserted inside of the screw-off cap at the bottom of the toy.

Over all, despite the nice veining, this just was not the toy for me. I did not have any liking toward the PVC material and I found the toy too hard for me. I feel as though this toy will be best suited towards those who are purchasing their first vibrator.
