It can be used for both internal and external stimulation, including the clitoris, labia, and around the perineum. I only use it alone, but it can also be used with a partner, whether they have a vagina or not.

The Maui is made of a very smooth plastic, the kind that makes it seem like it's not really plastic at all. It has an odd swirly design of ridges which adds to stimulation. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner, based on its odd design, but it gives off no particular odor.
